Hurley's Irish Pub is the premiere Irish pub in Montreal. Since it opened in 1993, the friendly staff have been serving 18 draft beers, a selection of more than 40 single malts and 8 whiskeys. 'Twas long ago, my last visit to this blessed place (early 90's), though every time think back to it, have a smile on my face & a song or two in my heart. Was worth the drive up from Maine to just be there, soaking in the live music on the weekends & enjoying the conversations with dear old friends, that you just met. At one point, copies of a few of the poems I wrote there, on bar napkins, used to hang on the wall. While I live in the west, now, & no longer drink spirits, if I am ever back Montreal way, will stop in again, & hope to make some new fond memories to add to those of before.

Super great place with good drinks & a nice outdoor patio!! We stayed for hours which is why we spent so much money, however the dishes were affordable & worth the price. There is live music at ten pm every night.

Very cool place with live music. Many tables!!!! Two floors. & just wish the AC was a bit stronger because its packed full of people. I really liked this place.
Not for young adults i will say 26+
Older adults will appreciate more this vibe than adults that is 18.

We waited a bit on the first floor for someone to notice us, & since it was not happening decided to head upstairs… We did not regret it : the service by Akira at the bar was lovely, nachos & beer was exactly what we needed, & the live music made the experience go from a nice to an awesome time. Nous y reviendrons! 🍻

Of all the pubs & bars in Montreal this is one of my favoritie's great cozy ambience for a night out, great wings & the live music is top notch! Deifnitely worth it if you can get in there for St Patrick's day!!!

Hurley's Irish Pub has long been a Montreal favorite, & my recent visit reminded me why. Catching up with an old friend over a couple of pints, I was reminded of the pub's enduring charm.
Stepping into Hurley's is like stepping into a traditional Irish pub. The decor is warm & inviting, with plenty of dark wood & cozy nooks. The staff are friendly & welcoming, making you feel right at home.
While Hurley's offers a menu of traditional pub fare, we were there for the Guinness. & Hurley's certainly delivers on that front. The Guinness was perfectly poured & tasted just as it should.
But Hurley's is more than just a place to get a good pint. It's also a great place to catch up with friends, relax after work, or enjoy some live music. The atmosphere is always lively & convivial, making it a great spot for a night out.
If you're looking for an authentic Irish pub experience in Montreal, Hurley's is definitely worth a visit. Just be warned, it can get busy, especially on weekends. But that's just a testament to its popularity.

Doug & Zak & Erin are the primary reasons I come here & spend my own tips earned from working the bar next door (i really miss the saturday sessions with Belfast Andi though) but THANK GOD there's live music every night, even on a monday night !!
