Reviews describe Hum as a small cozy vegan restaurant offering creative sushi, ramen, dumplings and other comforting dishes, with flavors that many find fresh and flavorful. The menu is praised for variety and good value, and the vegan options are highlighted as colorful and well balanced. The staff are repeatedly described as friendly and attentive, contributing to a warm welcoming atmosphere, though service can be a bit slow on busy nights and occasional missteps or delays have been noted. Overall the place is seen as a great spot for dates or casual meals, a charming neighborhood gem with a calm vibe, tasty food and thoughtful presentation.
Absolutely the best in the area! Small newcomers to the Plateau. Fresh, flavorful dumplings with awesome sauces & served by a nice family. Preferable to the chains nearby.
Edit: now that they have become HUM the place is even better with its creative menu, mocktails & cozy new interior design. Bravo for their reinvention!
Not only was the food absolutely delicious & flavourful at this cozy little vegan spot, but the service was out of this world. Our waiter was so kind & attentive. Will definitely be coming back!

Small but very cozy spot with REALLY good vegan sushi. The waiter was so incredibly nice even with my limited French :) We got the sushi combo (chef's choice, didn't disappoint) & dumplings. Great spot for a date, I couldn't recommend it more!
Hum is a hidden gem on the Plateau. The vegan sushi, dumplings & ramen were very good. Fresh, flavorful & beautifully plated. Staff were super kind & the vibe cozy & chill. Whether you're vegan or just hungry for good asian comfort food, you can't go wrong.
I came to have lunch with friends, I love the cozy atmosphere & warm service. This is not the first time here so I am certain each plate was delicious & so beautiful!
Absolutely love this place! Hum Vegan is hands down the most delicious & friendliest vegan restaurant I've ever visited. I had the sushi, inari, & ramen - all super fresh & flavorful.
The space is beautifully designed - simple, cozy, & filled with greenery & natural wood. It feels peaceful & close to nature.
Staff are welcoming & kind. Highly recommend for anyone looking for healthy, plant-based food in a warm, relaxing atmosphere!

This cozy place exudes a calming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to warm up with a delicious ramen on a rainy day.
We opted for their Omakaze combo for two, a three-course meal with edamame & dessert. The flavors were simply amazing, & the portions were perfectly balanced.
Their interpretation of tacos was something I hadn't tried before. Unlike the typical tortilla shell, it was crispy, light, & packed with flavor.
Hidden gems like this are so rare. It's tiny, but the cozy atmosphere is perfect. They have amazing Asian-inspired vegan food. I will definitely be back for more. Highly recommend checking it out!
The combo set with harumaki & miso ramen is really incredible! The ramen was so flavorful & hands down the best I ever had in Montreal. The soup & mushroom dumplings my mom ordered were so good too! Generous portions, affordable prices, friendly staff & cute & cozy vibe. I can't wait to try the sushi too.

Cozy spot with amazing food & great service. Love the new vegan menu. We tried the tofu dumplings, imperial rolls, miso ramen & peanut udon noodles. Everything was delicious & truly exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back for more!
The best meal we've had in Montreal. Hum Vegan specializes in unique vegan reimagining of Japanese favorites. It's clear great care & attention are paid to outstanding flavor & texture combinations in every bite. The plating & presentation is lovely & the ambiance is warm & welcoming in the cozy space. The service too was top notch, beyond friendly, & graceful even when dealing with our grumpy toddler (who quickly cheered up once he tasted the food.) This place is a hidden gem I feel lucky to have stumbled upon.
The food was delicious. They provided a new vegetarian sushi menu with many choices for you. We had 2 sushi dishes which were very pretty & delicious in a cozy space.
