These are giant donuts! Really like the texture & consistency of the dough. Very soft, easy to pull apart. They've got a wide variety of options, various gimmicks. I also like the quality of the chocolate used for the dip. The cashier was awesome, super cool guy & great service (PS, I'm the one you recommended the chocolate crunch donut to; you weren't kidding, haha). The donuts are on rapid turnover, they sell fast & they make them fresh. Price was very fair when considering other donut shops on the island. Excellent value. Thank you!
Cool spot that looks nice. The donuts are "bready" or seem stale. They should perfect their dough recipe a bit. Otherwise size & price are good value.
I've visited homers, twice already. & both times, it devastated my taste buds. As well as their prices for the boxes of 6 or 12 is pretty decent, not expensive compared to any other donut shop. I highly recommend coming to try it out! Highly recommend; blueberry cheesecake, apple/cinnamon, skors, kit kat, & the chocolate crunch. Can't wait for them to open up soon at their location in the South Shore.
Among the best donuts I've had. So soft fluffy & full of flavor. Be prepared for line ups here, but very quickly moving. Lots of selection, fresh all day. Price is amazing & Service is fantastic.
Very fluffy & fresh donuts! Great prices & lots of options, definitely recommend.
For those looking for the greatest donuts around the city, this is THE spot for it. Their dough is incredibly soft & delicious. I have been there several times & they have consistently delivered fresh & delicious donuts. Whether you're down for some donuts or want to bring dessert to someone's house & impress them with some goodies, this is the place to go. They have a nice variety of donuts which are all made to perfection. A box of 6 cost me 16$ & the donuts are huuuge! Price to quality/quantity ratio is definitely worth it! The staff is lovely & always greeted with a smile. Definitely coming back. Thank you to the whole team there for delivering such great product & service.
Nice cozy spot... Always busy...decent donuts...... Kind of pricey.... Would be great if they had coffee/ice coffee....
Huge hefty donuts at an incredible price! They have a huge selection to choose from so you can't go wrong. Staff are very helpful & friendly. Line ups can be long but they're quick to clear it up. I love Boston creme so I was very satisfied with their offering.
Went twice during the week off hours & didn't wait long. Both times the service was friendly & efficient. The price is reasonable for the size. The Nutella is phenomenal & my 4 year old loves the "homer" classic. My go-to place for any time I need to bring a treat somewhere.
Large portions of donuts for a fair price. Classic or unique tasting donuts for what ever you desire. Some options could be more generous with its toppings (Reese's).
Such high quality donuts with a wide variety of flavours for an affordable price. A box of 6 cost 16$ & the donuts were HUGE. My favourites were the apple donut & the original glazed. The donuts were not too sweet & were fluffy melt in your mouth. We came on a Saturday afternoon & surprisingly no line.
Are you tired of gucci donuts that are baked? Finally, a place that got it right & lives up to the fame! If I am going to pay premium prices for donuts, I want my fry/oil's worth. Tbh dough, the prices are really not that bad. I would say a Homer donut is about the size of 2 krispy kreams. So really, a box of 6 Homers would be equivalent to about 12 Krispy Kreams...but not all donuts are made the same. Homer's is sooooooo doughy & soft. God bless gluten & oil. I believe that if the box lasted longer than a day, the donuts would still be doughy & taste fresh because they so big & moist. Surprisingly, their toppings & garnishes are not overly sweet...which is a curse because you don't feel as bad eating 3 in a row (remember 1 homer = roughly 2 Krispy Kream). Service is A1. Patient (eventhough I changed & swapped donuts half way throughy order), helpful & offered kool pink glaze sprinkle donut stickers to my kids. Retro arcade machines are free of charge, so my kids were totally fine while I was waiting in line. Parking is limited as it is street parking but I illegally parked in front of the store & ran in. Can't wait to go back.
Homer's Donuts is a hidden gem with an unbeatable offer: donuts priced between $2-3 each, & trust me, they're worth it. Located not far from downtown & a nice drive to the NDG area, this place boasts an impressive variety of freshly made donuts & aromatic coffee. I sampled their Kitkat & signature Homer donut, both scoring a solid 8/10 for flavor & freshness. The Blueberry Cheesecake, however, didn't quite hit the mark for me due to its jelly & taste, earning a 4/10. As for the ice coffee, it held its own with an 8/10 rating. Comparing Homer's Donuts to other downtown spots, it stands out remarkably. While others charge around $5 for a mediocre donut, Homer not only competes but excels, offering exceptional value for your money. Service-wise, the friendly owner ensures a smooth experience, even during busy times when wait times are a brisk / quick 5-10 minutes. Overall, Homer Donut impresses with its affordability, quality, & efficient service, earning a solid 8/10 across the board. Whether you're a local or passing through, this spot is a must-visit for donut aficionados looking to indulge without breaking the bank.
Best donut I've had in ages! The shop is small but super cute with its colorful boxes & old arcade cabinets, & it was actually reasonably priced! I'll be coming back the next time I'm in NDG for sure.
Great new donut shop in NDG on sherbrooke west & grand blvd .... great variety of choices & the donuts are huge ... the store has lineups & prices are reasonable for what you get ... there donuts are tops if not the best around now.... much better than the chain shops .... I would recommend it highly to try it out
I have to say that today was the first time I've been here since all the hype. Meaning the line up's outside . I walked in & saw 5 people ahead of me & thinking I was be there for awhile. The nice cashier called me over & served me & answered my questions about the different types of donuts. Very pleased with the service & the donuts were huge & so fresh melt in your mouth. I will definitely be back soon. They are pricey but so worth every dollar.
Went there today to grab doughnuts (I'm visiting from Toronto) & the place is so cute & clean. The variety of doughnuts is amazing & the family running it are so sweet & working so hard. Most importantly, the doughnuts are delicious!! They're also so reasonably priced! Back home doughnuts like this would cost around $5 each. Here you can get 6 premium doughnuts for $20!! Highly recommend.
Family & I had these donuts from Uber eats a few weeks ago. Then I decided to go to the location. Not a fast moving line but well worth the wait. Artisanal donuts or rather the fancier donuts are AMAZING!!! Price for a box of 12 is north of 20$ but the freshness & size of the donuts is on point. We had to cut the donuts in 4 & there was enough for 8 people & there was leftovers going on 3 days.
