Tous les plats étaient savoureux & bien réussis! Nous en avons choisi 5 à partager à deux personnes & c'était parfait. La salle récemment rénovée est très lumineuse & l'ambiance est agréable.
The rare popular restaurant that combines incredibly delicious food with impeccable hospitality that was the most wonderfully accommodating. A member of our 6-person party surprised us by bringing 2 additional people along, & the team didn't make us feel uncomfortable at all-despite the new size usually implying their large party rules of tasting menu for all-& managed the situation by demonstrating flexibility & kindness that's rare to see these days. On top of that, the service throughout & the food itself was exemplary - oysters, challah, little gem, tomatoes, beef tartare, oyster mushroom, scallops, lobster, short rib - incredibly well done. & dessert of course ensured we left delighted after a truly outstanding experience.
Nous avons pris le menu dégustation du midi pour un diner d'affaires & c'était un pur délice! Chaque plat/tapas était riche en goût & fraicheur avec texture impeccable. Le service est excellent & l'ambiance du midi calme & charmante. Nous y retournerons certainement!
Expérience foodie quasiment planante chez Hélicoptère hier soir. Menu dégustation full créatif : pétoncles rôtis + espuma céleri-rave = wow. Service relax, staff passionné qui switch fr/en sans effort. Seul bémol : l'acoustique devient bruyante quand la salle est full, mais ça vaut quand même le splurge.

Le service était sublime, la nourriture était délicieuse, originale & apprêtée avec finesse, & le vin qu'on nous a conseillé était parfait. Super expérience si on est prêt.e.s à sortir le portefeuille. Un excellent endroit pour des occasions spéciales!

J'adore ce restaurant, j'y viens depuis longtemps & c'est encore meilleur à chaque fois! Ils ont fait des travaux & le décor est absolument magnifique ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus belle. Nous étions 8 pour un anniversaire & nous avons eu droit à un menu dégustation. Chaque service était extraordinaire. Manger chez Hélicoptère est une aventure gastronomique délicieuse à chaque bouchée. Le service est impeccable & notre maître d'hôtel était simplement la meilleure que je connaisse. Elle est aux petits soins avec humour & gaîté & on se sent vraiment choyé. La carte des vins est magnifique & la soirée a été extraordinaire! On ne peut pas se tromper en venant chez Hélicoptère, c'est une soirée mémorable garantie 🩷
Amazing food, we got the tasting menu with the wine pairings. The plates were unique, great presentation & even better taste. I tried hard not to lick the plate LOL. The sumac spritzer cocktail was interesting. The wine pairings were so-so. A couple of interesting ones but I think that's one area that they can potentially improve. Service was top notch, friendly & on time but not in your face. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is great, & the atmosphere outside on the street, well let's just say it's entertaining. We watched a whole police pullover of a car & search of their trunk while sipping wine! Overall, highly recommended & will definitely be back.
Super expérience du début à la fin ! Cocktails merveilleux, originaux & parfaitement équilibrés. La nourriture était tout simplement excellente. Un endroit à ne pas manquer !

This place was great. Food was really delicious & beautifully presented. The service was absolutely first rate. Great for solo diners. I sat at the bar & was very comfortable. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Montreal.
Had a delicious lunch here. The tasting menu was incredible! They had options for vegetarians & pescitarians & were accommodating. The service was friendly & extremely knowledgeable. Our server was the gentleman working the Saturday lunch. Would recommend to friends & family!
One of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. My partner & I came up from Toronto for the night, for my birthday, & I'm so happy this was the place we chose. The food was exceptional; it's clear that a lot of thought & care went into the dishes. Every dish we had was better than the last, beautifully presented & crafted. The service was impeccable, with the servers & bartenders being attentive & conversational, but never in an intrusive way. The staff were friendly & kind, & clearly passionate about the food they served. My partner & I both work in restaurants & we were seriously impressed. It's a travesty l'helicoptere didn't make it to the Michelin list; they deserve it. Regardless, everyone there should be extremely proud of what they're doing. Absolute must try for anyone in Montreal, looking for an exceptional dining experience.
Great dining experience! We went for lunch & ordered à la carte. Be prepared to order more plates than you'd think. The dishes are small but full of flavor. We ordered the challah bread, the sourdough, the oyster mushrooms, & the beef tartare (first photo). In the second photo, we had the scallops & the guinea fowl. I would happily reorder everything. Next time, I'd get the tasting menu because I now know all the items on the menu are reliably excellent.
