The food was okay overall - nothing particularly special. The Dynamite Chicken was quite nice, but the Chef's Special Chow Mein was disappointing - it tasted cold, old, & not fresh at all.
The only real positive is that the restaurant serves halal food, which is appreciated. Other than that, I didn't find much to enjoy.
I'm visiting from out of province & was hoping to try something special, but I left quite disappointed. I'm honestly not sure why this place is so highly praised.
Shrimp starter, manchurian, chilli,etc are all authentic halal. Finally Montreal has a true Hakka style restaurant. Requested the owner to open one in West Island
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Hakka Grill Halal Chinese Restaurant! The food is bursting with flavour, perfectly seasoned, & cooked to perfection. Every dish tasted fresh & authentic.
The service was impressive. The staff were warm, attentive, & made us feel so welcome. They really go above & beyond to ensure a great dining experience.
I ordered the chili beef, chili chicken & shrimp chow mein, all single portions. There are full portions too!

Had an amazing experience of enjoying Halal Asian-Pakistani style Chinese food in Montreal. We ordered Egg fried rice, Chicken Chilli Dry, Manchurian & Shashlik & Chicken chowmen. The menu offered a wide variety of options, & everything we ordered was outstanding! The chilli chicken was incredibly delicious, bursting with flavor & beautifully presented. We also ordered sesame chicken with egg fried rice & was delicious.
What truly stood out was the staff's knowledge & passion for the food. The owner took special care to ensure the taste was as per our request.

I have been wanting to try this ace for while & it was nice. I went there with the family. The food is delicious we had the chef special soup & chef special chow mean which were the best of the meals. The chicken & mongolian beef were great. Their rice was not that great.
I loved the jasmine tea. The decorations & atmosphere were nice but the service was not all that. There were not that welcoming or smiling felt like they were tiered while they just opened my sister even felt like they did not want to serve her at all. It was still a nice place to eat at for halal options.
Honestly this is the best place to check out if you're into Asian fusion cuisine & looking for more halal options! I was completely blown away by the general tso chicken. I think it has become my new favourite food because of this restaurant. Highly recommend as it's packed with flavour & the perfect level of spice.
The ambiance is super cute & the people working there are very attentive.
This is the perfect spot for a date night or out with a big group where you can share multiple dishes!

Amazing Halal authentic chinese food located at central downtown run by a wonderful person. We had their Mongolian beef, chicken manchurian & chili chicken. All were delicious!
That's a great news to have a halal Hakka place in Montreal; but honestly can't give a good review for the customers.
I really like the atmosphere & the customer service was great; but food was really basic & it was not up to the mark.
I only liked the fried fish; other items were average taste or below average. I feel extremely sorry but I have to be honest to other customers & share my personal experience.

First time to try this amazing amazing halal restaurant. Frist the staff was so professional 👏 a big thanks to Bushra she toke care of us it was her Frist day & she did an awesome job 5⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?for her 5 ⭐? for the food was fresh tasty 5 ⭐? for the ambiance. Over all we had the best experience we enjoyed the delicious food. We definitely be back .
