We had hot dogs, pepperoni poutine, smoked meat sandwich & a sub sandwich.
The sub sandwich took forever forever forever to come - the waitress apologized twice for the delay - so I wouldn't recommend ordering - it's just a big smoked meat sandwich anyway.
The smoke meat sandwich is deceptively small - the bread is like a fig leaf on the meat. Eat one for lunch & you don't need dinner. The meat was delicious & tender. Recommend.
The pepperoini poutine was really good. Very generous portions.

A Montreal institution!
We go for poutine, steamies (steamed hot dog, if you were wondering) & other greasy food because let's face it, sometimes, that is all you want & all that matters.
Generous poutine with gravely hot gravy, thick brown fries accompanied with cheese curds that makes you squeek over for more. Lots of variety for toppings. Our fav: anything sausage & ground beef.
Love their steamy. Comes hot & moist but sausage is still firm & not in a wet bun.
Steamie fun fact:
'All dressed' = mustard, relish, onions, coleslaw (no ketchup!)
'All dressed ketchup' = all-dressed + ketchup

First place in Montreal I've seen that does a Chicago style hot dog. Not that I've been looking very hard. Perhaps this was just serendipitous

Real sh this place absolutely slaps! They have a super grande selection de poutine - I went with the pork sausage one. C'etais pas mal bon & the price was hella cheap as well! The food was served like ridiculously quick which was sweet, & the atmosphere is kindof an old dinner type place - nothing pretentious just the good stuff :)

My daughter lives in Montreal & I am from Ontario. We have breakfast here every time I am in town! I just love it! The food is great, the staff are lovely & it is such a welcoming atmosphere! I can't wait to visit again!

Bonne bouffe, le jus frais est délicieux, prix très raisonnables mais les banquettes sont passées date & trop petites pour les adultes. Ils gagneraient vraiment à les remplacer par du mobilier plus ergonomique.

Notre premier restaurant au Canada. & franchement c'était génial. Super bon, super généreux, très bonne ambiance. Franchement je recommande 👌🏻

This is not some commercialized BS. They serve real food for an excellent price at a super comfy location - the cute two-people booths will always have my heart. The service was great too.

On m'avait dit que Greenspot était un peu moins connu à Montréal comparé à d'autres endroits, mais qu'il était bien apprécié des gens du coin, surtout pour la poutine. Je n'ai pas été déçu. C'était occupé, mais il n'y avait pas de file ridicule qui fait le tour du pâté de maisons comme dans les endroits touristiques. En plus, notre serveur était très serviable. Il n'a pas essayé de nous vendre plus & a été honnête en nous disant qu'on commandait probablement trop de nourriture, ce qu'on a vraiment apprécié. Je retournerais certainement la prochaine fois que je suis à Montréal.
