Greenspot est perçu comme une institution montréalaise au charme rétro, offrant une cuisine réconfortante de type casse croûte avec poutines généreuses, smoked meat et burgers, et des brunchs copieux à prix raisonnables. Service & Atmosphere were great. Parking is the worst in this area. Heard this was one of the best spots in MTL for poutine sadly It's not….but the Hotdogs are great & the smoked meat was good. Avoid the chicken souvlaki, bland rice & underdressed salad & overcooked chicken. For a Greek diner I expected better. Poutine was mid, tasted more like Ontario style, bland & curds while plentiful were not squeaky. Great atmosphere & again amazing service. This spot is def best for Steamés & probably awesome for breakfast. The fountain coke is super good at this place.

Been coming to this spot my whole life in MTL !! I'm a regular here the food is always the same definitely the best spot in that area for burgers & hot dogs breakfast is always good & prices stay low unlike other spots!
Bel endroit tout du moins pour l'ambiance , sentiment d'appartenance au St Henri, ce restaurant est un inratable du quartier .
Seulement voilà , très malade juste apres y avoir mangé !! Bien dommage, hot dog 6,55$ & milkshake 6$50 ont eu raison de moi !
Si on s attarde sur les assiettes , le hot dog est servi avec une portion de frites ( les miennes avaient clairement pris de l'âge & n'étaient pas bonnes ) il pourrait être mieux rangé dans le plat .
La poutine enfant avait aussi des vieilles frites & un fond de sauce un peu noir.
La sauce des spaghettis du menu enfant n'est pas faite maison alors qu'on y sert des pizzas à la base de sauce tomate.
Par contre l'assiette soulvaky était fraîche & bonne 23$.
En résumé peu d'effort sur les petites assiettes mais il y en a sur les grandes .
Clairement un problème de fraîcheur dans mon repas.
& c est désolant de sentir ce laisse aller car si le coeur y était ça serait un restaurant bon marché où se retrouver très souvent , avec une ambiance d'antan & un super service à table !
We had hot dogs, pepperoni poutine, smoked meat sandwich & a sub sandwich.
The sub sandwich took forever forever forever to come - the waitress apologized twice for the delay - so I wouldn't recommend ordering - it's just a big smoked meat sandwich anyway.
The smoke meat sandwich is deceptively small - the bread is like a fig leaf on the meat. Eat one for lunch & you don't need dinner. The meat was delicious & tender. Recommend.
The pepperoini poutine was really good. Very generous portions.

A Montreal institution!
We go for poutine, steamies (steamed hot dog, if you were wondering) & other greasy food because let's face it, sometimes, that is all you want & all that matters.
Generous poutine with gravely hot gravy, thick brown fries accompanied with cheese curds that makes you squeek over for more. Lots of variety for toppings. Our fav: anything sausage & ground beef.
Love their steamy. Comes hot & moist but sausage is still firm & not in a wet bun.
Steamie fun fact:
'All dressed' = mustard, relish, onions, coleslaw (no ketchup!)
Problem is this has always been mid tier food. That was the selling point. ,3$ a hot dog & 15$ poutine for very mid food that should be cheap. Not cool anymore. Fries are soggy, sauce is the powder, & barly curds

My brother went to Green Spot today. There was a guy in there asking for money from customers. He smelled like alcohol. One of the workers said to the itinerant'Are you hungry? I'll give you two hot dogs & a fry.. you want all dressed?''
My brother paid $23.00 for his take out meal plus tip but he was bothered by this stinking beggar while he waited for his order. But the workers there feed for free the beggars - they care more about the beggars than paying customers .
J'en ai beaucoup entendu parler en bien. La poutine est bonne & est une bonne portion. Le milkshake est bon aussi. L'ambiance cantine est vraiment réussie & les hot dogs sont à la hauteur.
Sadly there just 2 slow , eels like a deli but serving wise way to slow. I expect to get my food inside 10 to 15min, 10 minutes in no one still dint take my order , I hade to walk to & ask I am suppose to put my order in at counter or someone will come in serv me? Told myselft let's not eat, so I decide to leave but get 2 hotdogs 2 go, been waithing 15 min & still no hotdogs.. 15$ btw.
Went in for a poutine, got poutine, I had no prior experience on it so I guess it was good & perfect but just not for me. Service was great, the atmosphere was really an authentic diner experience so highly recommend if you like that. Nathans hotdogs looked delicious & one member of our group spoke highly of them. Wine/beer selection was a bit small but I guess they arent the main attraction there.
