Great place for a truly decent meal, fresh, pleasant atmosphere, excellent service. The prices are extremely fair, quantity is more than adequate for one, quality is 5 star. Old style diner atmosphere, homey feeling. The wait staff are incredible!

This is a great spot for a quick dine in ! The staff is friendly, the service is quick, & the prices are very reasonable. I always get the steak & fries, the salads & desserts are also very good ! It has a cute retro vibe, it feels like your transported to a different time, right here in the city !
Absolutely love their pouting, pizzas & breakfasts ❤️ Love the people who work there & love the old school vibes in the place. Used to only order online. Now I'm living closer so I can have it fresher than delivery ^_^

Greenspot Restaurant is a true gem with a rich history dating back to 1947. This iconic spot has been serving delicious comfort food for generations, & it never disappoints. I ordered the smoked meat omelette & chicken brochettes, & both were exceptional. The omelette was perfectly prepared, loaded with flavorful smoked meat, while the chicken brochettes were juicy & perfectly seasoned. The nostalgic charm of the restaurant, combined with its decades of culinary tradition, makes it a must-visit for anyone craving a classic, satisfying meal. A timeless Montreal treasure!
Typically, we visit the green spot for breakfast. However, on this visit we chose to go for lunch. I'm not sure if everyone's trying to make up for losses during covid, but to charge $9.75 for a BLT sandwich on White bread is just a bit excessive considering the majority of the sandwich was a large hunk of iceberg lettuce & 2 slices of bacon. Additionally, to charge $9.75 for a mini Poutine seems also a bit over the top.
This is the spot for a great Montreal Poutine. The best gravy in town! Sandwiches are great too, I usually take the smoked meat sandwich. Service is pretty good (although a bit slow at times because it's always super busy!) & the vibe is awesome! It takes you back to the good old days. Totally recommend.
The best diner in Le Sud-Ouest! Potentially the world . The Poutine is the best value / taste, although i hear the sandwhiches are pretty good as well. Lotta memories at the Greenspot.
