Gia a été imaginé pour toutes les envies et fringales de la journée à vos soirées entre amis autour d’un dîners assis, ou si l’humeur se prête plus festive, s’accouder au comptoir de notre caviste sans réservation.
Gia Vin & Grill est décrit comme un endroit italien chaleureux et élégant, avec une ambiance conviviale et un service attentif qui améliore l'expérience. La nourriture est souvent saluée comme délicieuse et bien travaillée, avec des plats grillés, des arrosticini, de la focaccia, des pâtes et des desserts remarquables comme le tiramisu et la tarte au chocolat; la carte des vins est large et bien assortie. Bien que certaines portions d'entrée soient jugées petites et que quelques plats manquent parfois d'un peu de consistance, l'ensemble donne l'impression d'un lieu de grande valeur et d'un vrai bijou à Montréal pour occasions spéciales ou dîners décontractés, et beaucoup envisagent d'y revenir pour découvrir d'autres plats.
Une vraie découverte! Le Gia est un endroit chaleureux avec belle sélection de vins & de bières, une cuisine à s'en lécher les doigts & un service hors pairs. Je le recommande vivement!
2024: service was still excellent. Music was better. Lamb arrosticini, eggplant, fennel salad, & pici pasta with ragu were delicious. Great presentation overall. Suggested wine pairing worked well. Agua Di Gia cocktail was a bit boring. 2022: Friendly & efficient service. Great wine recommendations. Shared the lamb & beef arrosticini, the eggplant, the artichoke, the lamb sausage, & the duck tartare. All were unique & delicious. Music & decor could be a little more interesting, but overall a fantastic experience.

What a little gem, tucked away behind a Home Depot you would never guess this place is an elevated traditional italien restaurant. Menu changes all the time, I had a hard time picking just a few things! Very very recommended
We went here twice. Each time, we asked the server which food & drinks to order, & enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime night 😍 The food is good & wine/cocktail pairings are next level. My favorite restaurant in Montreal.
Nous sommes venus au GIA pour mon anniversaire & it did not disappoint! Tout était parfait. Les huîtres, les brochettes, la salade de fenouil, les pommes frites, le tiramisu 10/10. Merci Victor pour ton service & ton implication. He def knows whats up!!!! Highly recommend.

Un des meilleurs services que j'ai reçu! Les serveurs sont très attentionnés. Ce qui m'a plus c'est de voir que le serveur connaissait très bien le menu & il savait ce qu'il proposait. De plus, j'ai reçu le mauvais plat & les serveurs ont pris soin de la situation en me proposant une entrée & ils ont également changé mon plat! La nourriture était très bonne & fraîche. Je reviendrai c'est certain!
Je parle de mon expérience récente ici. C'est la 3-4e fois. La nourriture est excellente, les prix sont dans la fourchette 100+ pour 2 personnes. Les portions sont correctes, pas immenses & pas petites. Ce qui nous a dérangé, c'est que si vous nous demandez si nous voulons une foccacia, demande nous si nous voulons aussi de l'huile d'olive avant de la charger dans l'addition! On nous charge la focaccia, & aussi un petit peu d'huile d'olive? Mais on l'a pas demandée l'huile d'olive!

Beautiful restaurant at a very unconventional spot. Everything from the minute we walked in was perfect. Emily greeted & seated us on their terrace, which is both covered & heated, so you don't have to worry if it's raining or a little chilly. They brought a plate of their sourdough focaccia, olives & olive oil while we were looking at the food & drink menus. We started with a mixed appetizer plate which included beef, lamb & pork arrosticinis, chopped up razor clams, mussels & halibut crudo. We also tried the white fish croquettes, fried polenta & the tomato focaccia. Delicious 👌🏼 For primi, we shared a tagliatelle dish with chanterelles & pancetta. The secondi was a perfectly cooked striploin which was accompanied by broccolini & fries. We ended the night by sharing two tiramisus between the 4 of us, as we were pretty full from all the food. I highly recommend this restaurant whether it's for a night out with friends, a dinner between couples or even for corporate lunches/dinners. The service we got from Emily was as good as service can get!
Chose this place for my closest friend's 40th birthday. Service was great. Vicc was perfectly bilingual, humorous, knew his stuff, professional to a T - great! Drinks: One of us had the one sparkling white wine that came by the glass, I had the bourbon cocktail. Both were good, simple, but that's expected. Birthday boy had a mocktail. 12$ is a bit steep for a mocktail. Tasted very good, but that's a heft price tag. Appertizers were the beef, pork & lamb skewers, with a fat piece of foccacia to scoop up that garlic & parlsey butter. The skewers were SENSATIONAL. Best part of the meal, & the one thing I would focus on if I ever go back. Lamb was amazing. Pork was tender. Beef was a tad over-cooked, but quite good. Skewers is what they are known for, & they did not dissapoint. The four of us split 3 mains: The Duck ragout, which was tasty, but lacked duck flavour. The tagliatelle, which had a great sauce & the mushrooms were wonderful but the pasta was over-cooked which was unfortunate. The sausage was decent, but the lentils & crispy kale on the plate were actually the best part. Dessert: The birthday boy was gifter the canteloup & geranium granita, which was lovely. One couple split the chocolat ice cream & hazelnut merinuge sunday which was great, & the other had the tiramisu, which was....quite disappointing. It looked like a basic restaurant dessert at 3x the price. Would I go back? Probably, a nice glass of wine, foccacia & skewers - YES. All the rest was rather forgetable. But then again, as long as there is one that one taste, that one flavor that brings you back...isn't that what matters?

Very relax atmosphere Fun deco We shared: Entree: beef skewers ( lots of fat pieces ), fennel salad :dressing was blend the fish crocchette crispy on the outside but very very soft texture in the inside & the eggplant they were ok Main course: omble chevalier on a bed of peas & string beans tasteless rigatoni was blend & a piece of steak which no one ate it's was really a tough piece of meat couldn't chew it the waiter remove it from our bill Overall disappointed but their twist on the mai tai cocktail was unbelievable & their focaccia bred very good
