Every time I give this restaurant another try it disappoints. No attention to detail & very inattentive staff. Tonight we sent back half a pizza that had a hair inside the ingredients & they did nothing to make it right, they even had the nerve to tell us they can't give a discount (what an insult) for that (even though they did it!) & offered an ice cream which we refused, I paid the full bill (not to make a scene) & left. Very unprofessional & poorly handled once again as it's not the first time they screw up. I hope Stefano & Michael know how their staff are & clients are treated this way!
Les 5 étoiles les plus faciles que j'ai déjà donné. Après une seule visite c'est devenu notre pizzeria préférée au Quebec. Pizza Apennine à ne pas rater (à partager puisque c'est quand même lourd seul) & on a adoré la Affumicata. $50/personne après tax & tips pour 1 pizza & 1 verre, ce qui est extrêmement acceptable vu la qualité des ingrédients. Service impeccable. À très bientôt.

Un peu déçu de l'expérience globalement. J'ai pris deux pizzas & un spritz à emporter sur la terrasse, j'en ai eu pour presque 85$ tips inclus ! Temps d'attente de 45 minutes. J'ai trouvé les pizzas moyennes par rapport au prix. Ça en devient très excessif ces prix pour des pizzas je trouve. Je n'ai pas l'impression d'y trouver des ingrédients ou une cuisine qui justifient cela.
Gema was recommended to me as the best pizza in little Italy, it didn't disappoint... The pizza was delicious & the ingredients were high quality. Recommended for an authentic napolitain pizza
Fresh ingredients & flavourful pizzas. The drinks were really good as well, I would recommend the spicy margarita if you can handle a little spice. The staff was very nice.

Je suis contente de l'avoir essayé, car j'avais lu pleins de bons commentaires & j'ai décidé d'y aller spontanément après le travail. J'ai prise la pizza Jenne. La croûte est parfaite, des ingrédients frais & généreusement garnie de belles grandes feuilles de basilic! Parmis mes pizzerias four à bois favoris, elle suit de très proche le Kesté & c'est clair que je reviens cette été pour profiter de la terrasse avec des amis.
La pizza était tout simplement délicieuse. Des ingrédients frais & savoureux. Les enfants aussi ont adoré. Un service sympa & une ambiance de petit resto de quartier. Nous avons adoré.
Très bonne adresse ! Les pizzas sont copieuses, authentiques, avec des ingrédients de qualités. Nous avons commandé des pizzas assez simples mais quel délice ! L'endroit est très cozy, également chaleureux grâce au personnel. On y retournera !
Was there in July 2017, party of 2. Ordered drinks, wine, appetizers & entrees & desserts. Cocktails were the high note. Food is made up of high quality ingredients. There is just not enough of them in every dished. Barely no octopus in the octopus salad. Barely no mozzarella di buffala on our pizza (literally had to look for it). Same for every serving
Was there early in the evening - no rush. The servers didn't even inform us of items not on the regular menu. Seated outside, there was no way to find out.
We like Stefano quite a bit but were very disappointed this time. There are many other "higher" end pizzerias in Montreal. Will not be coming back here

Nous sommes allés manger dimanche le 7 février 2016. L'accueil est correct & le service fut très adéquat. Les deux serveuses sont attentives & diligentes.
Au niveau de la nourriture, on constate que la qualité des ingrédients semble au rendez-vous. Toutefois, la pizza est servie presque dénudée d'ingrédients. C'est nettement insuffisant. Surtout à un prix moyen de $17-18 pour une pizza. La croûte est bonne sans plus. Nous avions observé la même chose chez Impasto. La quantité servie pour le prix est plus que questionnable. Le profit semble prendre le pas sur l'expérience culinaire. Pourtant...
Tant qu'à l'espace physique du restaurant Gema, c'est minimaliste & sans chaleur. Très bruyant également. Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant tant pour la nourriture que pour l'endroit. Le rapport goût & quatité prix est faible. Nous voyageons beaucoup & connaissons de très bonnes pizzérias avec ingrédients maisons. Pour le moment, Gema est loin du compte.
