Stopped by for a weeknight dinner & grabbed a seat at the bar, which turned out to be perfect for shooting the open kitchen without getting in anyone's way. The bone marrow was the highlight of the night, rich & smoky & clearly the dish most people at nearby tables were ordering too. Service was relaxed but attentive, & the bartender took the time to explain a few things on the menu without ever feeling rushed. Exposed brick & low lighting made for a great atmosphere, even if it meant bumping my ISO up a bit to get decent shots.

What a fantastic dining experience! The staff were amazing & very attentive. The food was so amazing & we really liked all the options we received from the Chef's menu option.

Excellent experience! I sat at the bar top & had the tasting menu. Everything tasted great & dishes were well thought out. They paced the courses perfectly. Service was top notch & attentive. I would definitely recommend Garden Manger to anyone. I will definitely return!

From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left this restaurant we were made to feel at home & comfortable. Every single staff member were the most attentive, without being overbearing. The menu knowledge of the staff was matched by the sheer brilliance coming from that kitchen. Kylean(sorry if this is the wrong spelling) our bartender, was nothing short of amazing, start to finish, he made us feel as if we were the only ones in the restaurant. Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant & the chef's menu. Will return for another meal!

We'd been wanting to try this place for quite a while, & overall it was a nice evening.

The atmosphere was cozy, with a dimly lit bistro feel. Unfortunately, we were seated in the back beside two very large, very loud tables, which made it difficult to hear each other throughout dinner.

We ordered a variety of dishes. The standout was definitely the snow crab brioche, it was my favourite dish of the night & something I'd absolutely recommend. The clams were alright but didn't really stand out, while the scallop entrée was disappointing for the price. It was served with only three scallops, which didn't feel like good value for a main course, & the price. My husband ordered a starter followed by the steak with Diane sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly & combined with the sauce made it an excellent dish.

The staff were friendly & attentive, though at times the service felt a little over-attentive. They stopped by our table very frequently to top up our water, even when we'd only taken a couple of sips, & our napkins were refolded several times throughout the meal. While we appreciated the attention to detail, it felt a bit excessive & took away from the relaxed dining experience.

Overall, it was a pleasant dinner. There were a few things that didn't quite hit the mark, but there were also some standout dishes that made the visit worthwhile.

Garde Manger has been added to my list of favourite restaurants I've ever been to. It's not just the food, which is unique, delicious & impeccably prepared & presented, it's about the service.

The staff at Garde were attentive & personable. We were having a fun night with friends & they matched the vibe perfectly.

Lastly, the ambience of the restaurant is very special. It's elegant without being pretentious. It's a vibey, relaxed atmo that made us feel at home immediately.

Thanks again, we will be back!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. We had the tasting menu, & every dish was outstanding with incredible flavors. The service was warm, attentive, & professional.

What really set this place apart was the exceptional hospitality. I accidentally left my coat behind & was flying home the next day. Jess kindly took time out of her day to bring it to Canada Post & ship it to me. When I asked about the cost, she told me it was on the house.

A truly classy restaurant that goes above & beyond for its guests. Highly recommended!

My favorite cocktail & seafood place in Montreal, maybe the eastern seaboard. Don't skip your vegetables, as their sides are as great as their mains. The service is the most attentive I've had in a while, but never oppressive... perfect meal all around.

We had a wonderful evening. Attentive staff pulled us in from the street (there is no sign indicating the restaurant). Friendly, attentive staff made us comfortable & picked up discretely that it was my birthday. The food was exquisite, service was attentive but not overwhelming. Our wait staff offered to have Chuck come to our table & he did, quite readily. They generously offered a token of appreciation for my birthday & Chuck took a few minutes to share some cool anecdotes about the plaques & facade of the restaurant. A very authentic & genuine evening. Great ambience in an intimate setting. Music was comfort but not invasive. Highly recommend the experience!

Absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. My husband & I did the chef's seasonal tasting menu & every single dish we tried was bursting with flavor & executed to perfection. The seafood, in particular, was very fresh. The cocktails were also on point!

What truly elevated the evening, though, was the service. The staff were exceptional: attentive, knowledgeable, & genuinely passionate about what they do. We felt completely taken care of the entire time.

The vibe & atmosphere were just as impressive. Sitting at the bar made the experience even better; it felt immersive & exciting, like being right in the heart of it all.

This place exceeded all expectations. Easily one of the best dining experiences I've had. I would highly recommend it.
