Review Summary

Fuzion Zen is described as a small, charming spot in a nice area with zen, intimate lighting and festive decorations; the BYOB policy is a frequent plus. The food is generally good and well presented, with generous portions and a noticeable Franco-Asian fusion, and several dishes are highlighted for flavor and freshness, including a standout crème brûlée and a soft, flavorful beef dish. Some reviews note the food is enjoyable but not particularly original, while others call the cuisine refined and exciting. The ambiance is often described as cozy and romantic for a couple, though the room can be quite loud in the evening. Service quality varies, with some servers praised for attentiveness and friendliness and others criticized for speed or consistency. Reservations are advised due to frequent crowds, and many guests say they would return to try more items.

Very nice little place imn Sainte-Rose. Often full, so better reserve. Service is sometimes a bit sow, but blame is on their success. Lot pf food options, tasty & very nicely served. Bring your wine. Not our first time there, not the last.

We didn't order from the table d'hote. We really enjoyed our food. Our waitress was very friendly & knowledgeable. It would have been nice if she told us that the house hot sauce was ridiculously spicy BEFORE we poured it all over our meal. The decor is nice. It's in an old period home. Prices are reasonable given the portions. Estimate $40 per person with tip. Minimum. + Bring your own wine. PS. I've tried General Tao all over, this is one of the best I've ever had. Nov 29 Update. The place is still great. Our waitress told us the spicy sauce was spicy The food & service are still excellent.

A very small Asian fuzion in downtown ste-rose. You can easily miss it since it's inside a small house, probably dated from when Ste-Rose was established. Because it's small, there's very limited seating. Walk in can be accommodate if there's place but there's a lot of reservation. It's also a bring your own wine place so don't expect any alcohol sold on property. We took the imperial rolls with general tao chicken & red curry & coco cream shrimp. Everything was freshly done & piping hot. The imperial rolls were greatly stuffed with veggies & came with a little carrot salad & sweet & sour sauce. It was good! Every plate are served with rice & seasonal vegetable. The chicken on the general tao was very tender & juicy & the homemade sweet sauce was very good. I really liked it. My girlfriend also really liked the shrimp. One thing to remember, they are in the hearth of old Ste-Rose which mean high price. Our meal with tips costed 91$.

Worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. Went to this restaurant last night with 3 friends, our reservation was at 7:45. We arrived 5 minutes early & were seated right away by the hostess who told us the waitress would come see us soon to open our wine bottle & explain the menu. The waitress came to see us exactly 30 minutes later at 8:15. She opened the wine & explained the menu to us but we were waiting for 30 minutes so knew the menu by heart & made our choices. I tell her we were ready to order to which she says she's gonna go serve a table & come back to us right away. She comes to see us 15 minutes later, meaning it took 45 minutes for us to place our orders meanwhile the table next to us was seated after us & they took their orders before ours. We received our appetizers at 8:45. Our main dishes were served at 9:30, one hour 45 minutes after we arrived. The table next to us arrived before us, was served before us & left before us. Yes the food was tasty & the presentation was nice but it does not justify the lengthy service provided at this place. It's a good thing we did not have plans afterwards or we would've had to cancel. We all felt neglected & wondered if it was because we spoke English amongst ourselves even though we spoke French to the hostess & waitress. My friends & I go out to eat every week & it is not normal to have to wait 30 minutes before placing your order & then receiving your main meal almost 2 hours later, that's just ridiculous. They really really need to step it up. Again, the food was good but not good enough to justify waiting all that time. Never going back & I suggest you don't go here if you're in a rush.
