Authentic Gujarati thali & various options for those who want to eat delicious Gujarati food items
Best Indian food, best indian street food & best indian thali in montreal! Foodine Restaurant is a dream for any vegetarian food lover in montreal! I tried their chapati & bajri rotla alongside the delicious curries began bharta in thali, & it was an unbeatable combination. The rotla was soft & paired perfectly with the spicy began bharta. To top it off, the mango ras was divine, adding a sweet finish to the meal. Their blend of Gujarati & Kathiyawadi cuisine is some of the best in Canada, & the quality is impeccable! Moreover the service & ambience was top class! When in montreal you should visit this hidden gem!.!
We are visiting from Toronto & had an amazing experience at Foodine Montréal. We ordered the Gujarati Surati thali & the Kathiyawadi thali, as recommended by the gentleman at the front desk. He gave excellent advice & suggested ordering both so we could try different sabjis as a group, which was a great idea.
The service was fantastic throughout our visit. The bharthu (olo) was absolutely delicious, & the ras puri was top-notch. Everything tasted authentic & full of flavor.
Whenever we visit Montréal again, this thali will definitely be our go-to meal. Highly recommended!
We had the Kathiyawadi thali & it was absolutely amazing. The taste was authentic & full of flavor. The rotlo & odo truly reminded us of the real Kathiyawad taste. The staff was very friendly & welcoming. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!
Foodine offers an impressive array of vegetarian options, but their Gujarati thali stole the show for me. The dishes were incredibly flavorful, from the sweet & spicy dal to the perfectly spiced Shaaks. The unlimited thali ensures you get a bit of everything, & the variety is outstanding. with the buttermilk & Aam Ras satisfying the tummy giving a fairy tale bliss to the unlimited thaal. Whether you're craving comfort food or something more indulgent, this place has you covered. Their street food options, like bhel & chaat, are also top-notch! Moreover i would highly recommend their rotis, rotla, began bharta, sev tameta, undhiyu puri, khichdi & Kadhi (they are top notch)! & also the combo of Indian masala tea & Theplas is must try!
Staff is so welcoming & ready too help you with smile. For sure will come back . Best Indian food in Montreal! Tried their Chinese too & was awesome, quality & taste was good, & quantity was justified against price! When in Montreal try this hidden gem♥?!!!
I placed an order through Uber Eats for four gobi parathas & one special thali. All were terrible. The parathas were all undercooked, almost raw, & the gobi stuffing was nothing to no, it was more like plain paratha & also raw. The special thali I ordered, I chose mix vegetables & dal. The mix vegetables was not a mix of vegetables at all. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. If you want good food, please order elsewhere. I will never order food again from this restaurant.
I usually go for the regular or premium thali. Super affordable & great options if you're looking to get a good, delicious meal. Sometimes it can get a little bit salty, but generally everything is well-seasoned delicious.
We have tried both the Thali's. Both of them are worth eating. 2 of the curries out of all are okay but other food has countered them & overall experience is nice.
Everything is unlimited except buttermilk & fryams. Buttermilk is so nice & I wish it is also unlimited:)
It's just like our home food. Very yummy. Everyone must go once time to test it. Gujrati thali & other like dabeli panipuri & many more optios available ane its fresh. Healthy food🥳🥳.
The food was absolutely delicious, had an unlimited surati gujarati thali & it was worth every penny. Must try when here!!
Very humble coooperative & they provided sp. food for kids
Amazing Experience with Gujarati Food
Like simple & homemade.
Surati & Kathiawadi thali went beyond expectations….
Surti thali & kathiyawadi thali both were super delicious & Riya took good care of everything
We had a wonderful experience at Foodine Restaurant! If you're craving authentic Gujarati thali, this is the place to be. The food felt just like home-flavorful, fresh, & full of love.
The baingan bharta was perfectly spiced, the undhiyu rich & comforting, & the mango ras was simply divine. We also loved the Surati pattice-crispy on the outside & bursting with flavor inside.
There was a wide variety of dishes, & each one had that special homemade touch. The staff was warm & welcoming, making our family outing even more enjoyable.
Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy real Gujarati food in a cozy, family-friendly setting. We'll definitely be back!
We visited this restaurant today & had such a satisfying experience! We ordered the Masala Chai, Surati Thali, & Kathiyawadi Thali-& both thalis came with unlimited refills, which made it great value for the price (around $22 per thali).
Between the two thalis, we got to enjoy 8-10 different curries, along with poori, roti, & bajra roti-all freshly made & flavorful. Everything tasted homely & authentic, but a few items truly stood out for me:
• Aamras
• Undhiyu
• Kadhai Paneer
If you're craving real Gujarati or Kathiyawadi flavors, this place is absolutely worth a visit!

Felt like a trip back to India! I haven't had such authentic-tasting food in Canada before. The food was absolutely delicious-highly recommend trying their thali. It's reasonably priced, with excellent quality & great service to match.
Tried the Surti Thali at Food One, Montréal - & it was absolutely delicious!
Authentic Gujarati flavors, generous portions, & a perfect mix of sweet, spicy, & savory dishes. Tasted just like a home-cooked meal. Highly recommend it - a must-try for anyone craving gujarati comfort food!
Initially the service was very slow & we had to wait for almost half an hour. But once I tasted the thali I felt it was worth waiting. Just a heads up that it would be very crowded on weekends.
We ordered their most famous'Premium thali'. Amazing taste, comforting food, fresh & thin rotis.
