Delicious Gujarati cuisine with authentic flavors & warm hospitality at foodine restaurant. The *kathiawadi thali & surati Thali* were a highlight, with a perfect balance of sweet & savory dishes. Don't miss the surati khaman. A must-visit for a true taste of Gujarat!
Best Gujarati food in Montreal hands down. Owners Nancy & Luv are very friendly. Staff is always willing to help. Please go there for comfort food when you are travelling.

We had the thali & much more-everything was like home: tasty & amazing. Highly recommended! Definitely coming back soon.

If you are planning to visit Montreal & want to have some Pure vegetarian Gujarati dish with hometaste, I would recommend this place. We went there twice for dine in & have No complaints at all. We recently dined at Foodine in downtown Montreal, & it was an unforgettable experience. This cozy little restaurant has quickly become one of my favorite spots, especially for their authentic Gujarati cuisine. From the moment I walked in, I felt a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reminded me of home. The staff was incredibly friendly & attentive, making sure every detail of my dining experience was perfect. The food, however, was the star of the show. Every dish was bursting with flavors that took me back to my roots. The Gujarati thali was a highlight, with its delightful combination of savory, sweet, & tangy elements, just like my grandmother used to make. Each bite was a nostalgic journey, & I could tell that the chefs put a lot of love & care into their cooking. In addition to the thali, the dhokla & thepla were simply outstanding. They were fresh, perfectly seasoned, & paired beautifully with the chutneys. It's rare to find such authentic Gujarati food outside of India, & Foodine truly excels in bringing the flavors of Gujarat to Montreal. Overall, Foodine is a gem in the heart of downtown Montreal. It's a must-visit for anyone craving genuine Indian cuisine, especially if you're looking for that special taste of home. I highly recommend it & can't wait to return for another delicious meal.
Excellent place for Gujarati thaali. They have an a la carte menu also.
One of the best restaurants in the Montreal downtown area, food is really amazing & it tastes like as you are truly eating authentic home indian food. The place is little small to see but the staff service & food is worth to try. We went in a group they gave us a good customer service & we tasted their famous different thalis, truly surati & gujarati taste.
We went in for Lunch on weekend, we opted for the Unlimited Gujarati Thali Option, there 2 options to pick from Surti or the Kathiyawadi, both were great options. The food was great when it comes to taste. The only complaint I have is with the service. It seems like the restaurant is operated by the family with no additional staff, there is a lack of service. Food was unlimited but the service was relaxed, we had to wait for our food even when ordered a while ago. & the quantity that was brought out of the kitchen was limited. I believe it was because food was prepared in small portions & to avoid any additional food wastage which is a good thing but can be time consuming. Overall if you have time & like Gujarati Food which I definitely believe you should try, I highly recommend this place in Montreal.
The best Gujarati/Kathiyavadi thali I have ever had in Canada. Delicious bajri rotlo & Bhartu. Warm & welcoming staff, great service. Must try when in Montreal.
Very amazing food & hospitality!! Being from India & specifically from Gujarat, I can say without any doubt that this was the best Gujarati thali experience that I had in Canada. Their undhiyu was full of flavours & I wonder if I can get such Undhiyu in Gujarat itself!
It was amazing experience! Food was so delicious. It makes me feel my home food! Staff were so amazing! Service was amazing. 10 on 10 for all aspects. Do visit especially if you want authentic West Indian (Gujarati) food taste!
