Les portions sont généreuses, les boissons sont toutes plus délicieuses les unes que les autres, & le service est très agréable!
My wife & I went for brunch. Food was amazing, but really long waiting time. Maybe a waitlist app could benefit both parties.
Had a lovely brunch here with my husband & a friend. The place is super cute & cozy, the waiter was great, & the food was delicious! We had a special dish, eggs benedict with pork, & was exceptional. We got there super early bc we were told it gets super crowded & people line up. I can now see why! I HIGHLY recommend!
Don't take the foiegraw slam for brunch, it's just average & quite pricey for the buck
I'll give it another shot for dinne
The place is rather small so don't expect to have a lot of space. However, the service is nice & kind, & the food is of quality! I found the pancakes to be overated, but the eggs & bread were among the best I've ever had! It's a nice place to switch it up from the usual brunch chains
The food was good & came out quick. The prices were also good for brunch. It's better to come before 11 to avoid lineups.
We came here on a cold Sunday morning to enjoy a hearty brunch, & we were properly satisfied. We made sure we arrived before 10 am, as there are no bookings on the weekends. That paid off as we got one of the most comfy tables. It is a tight place specially with the jackets, so it pays off to arrive early & being able to choose a more spacious one. This tightness adds to the atmosphere in a way but I guess it can be annoying for some. The food was absolutely delicious we had the croissant truffle Benedict as well as the blueberry pancakes with their delicious maple cream, accompanied by some freshly made cocktails. The cocktails were very fairly priced & my Bloody Caesar was on point. The food was full of flavor & satisfied all of our cravings, the pancakes with that texture & the maple cream are definitely a must in this place. Service was always proactive & very kind, couldn't catch her name but she was extremely friendly & always smiling.
Disappointing brunch on a Friday morning. Ordered the duck confit Benedict that arrived cold on a small plate. The potatoes that it came with were served much later, so we suspect they were burned originally & the egg dish got cold waiting. My friend ordered the grand slam, which came with a pancake but did not receive her maple syrup. Service was inattentive as the only waiter in the room was at the door seating new clients & setting the tables. There are so many better brunch places in Montreal that I would not recommend Foiegwa, especially at this price.
I've been to Foiegwa before for a lovely brunch & so had high expectations - was disappointed tonight. The server first tried to put us at a tiny wee table mid aisle with awkward wooden chairs - too small for me & my son is 6ft tall - when it was almost empty. I asked to sit by the window along the padded bench which was completely open with 6 sets of free tables, & she said yes - odd that she sat us at the worst table. Still, friendly & brisk staff (8/10). I actually liked that one of the servers spoke exclusively French even though I was replying in English. Went for'MTL a table' which is great to try out menu sets - it helps me decide restos to visit for the rest of the year. My shrimp cocktail was 5 defrosted shrimp, served with minced greens/onions on top of Ketchup, ick - I'd expected a cocktail or rosemarie sauce (2/10). My teen's mushroom soup was delicious, nicely plated & the best thing we tried (8/10). The scallop risotto was creamy but only three scallops (about the size of a quarter) (6/10). I had the tiny half cornish hen topped with green beans, swimming in broth, but it was very dry (4/10). Had to ask for a spoon for the broth. My chocolate mousse was grainy, served in a wee ramekin with a thick hard almond cookie'lid' that was def not a'tuile' (2/10). The lovely server exchanged it for the panna cotta, topped with sweetened berries (thawed, not fresh) & a crunchy granola (7/10). As other reviewers have pointed out, portion sizes are small, & my teen left hungry. Based on this meal I would not go back for dinner, though I think it'd be fine for a glass of wine as I like the atmosphere & staff is attentive.
Good brunch & late night eats. Conveniently placed next to Atwater cocktail club. Sometimes a wait to get it but worth it. Milkshake & fries available too :)
Mouthwatering, delicious must try the truffle fries , spaghetti is amazing , espresso drinks are pretty good, nice latte art, went for opening on a Friday for brunch walk in only got amazing food & service. Would definitely recommend.
This review is mostly targeted at the late night pre-fixe menu ($25 for three-course with options, INSANE value) which is very tasty. Come with a friend & try everything, you won't be disappointed! Note, brunch is also great. Make sure to get a reservation.
Very noisy place for brunch. Everyone was sit tightly, everyone was looking for service but it's a mess. The brunch portion we had were very small, not worth the price at all. Btw, coffee was good but it came with a dirty mug.
It's not my first visit, love to dine there. It was my first brunch. What was ordered: shashuka, grand slam & pancakes. It was ok but not great! The bacon eggs & potatoes are the same quality than when we used to go to a chain breakfast place. I was expecting these ingredients to be refined. Good coffee, excellent service & good vibes. I will probably go back & try something different. It's always packed but good thing we went early.
Came a few months ago for brunch on a long weekend. We were worried there would be a long wait, but luckily we came at a good time & got a table right away. We ordered: Pancakes👌 Chicken & Waffles 💕 The first pancake dish served was actually undercooked & still raw in the middle, so they quickly replaced a new order for us & it was perfect 👌 thick & fluffy with maple butter. The chicken & waffles are definitely one of my favourites the chicken was so juicy & the crispy skin was well spiced. Waffles were nothing special but still good.
It's a really good place for having brunch or breakfast, the staff is so friendly & nice, & the portions are good for the price, I recommend the cold latte.
Really great brunch experience as someone coming in from Toronto for a weekend trip! Service & food were great! Ordered the Foeigwa slam - pancakes were excellent, though light on condiments it was really savory. Others like eggs, bread & sausage were likewise prepared well. Recommend visitors check it out! (Pancake score: 8.5/10)
