It's nice to go into a place & be able to get frogs legs & escargot. Cocktails were excellent, & it had that cozy Bistro feel to it. Food was well seasoned, & as stated before, classic French. The server very kindly threw in & amazing chocolate mousse for my birthday... Completely unbidden, but appreciated. Definitely a must.
Great atmosphere, very cozy, Alex our server was amazing & very friendly. One thing tho, our hot drinks were mostly Luke warm, other than that everything else was awesome.
What a smart, cozy & easy to get to place.
The place sits about 30 people & is very intimate. The walls are full of art (black & white portraits).
A nice place for couples or smallish groups. Would not be as suitable for large groups.
It was our first time & we tried the late night / after 9 pm menu (excellent deal).
We tried all the items & the best ones were: beef tartare (+$3), Caesar salad & the spaghetti (simple yet so rich).
Will pass on the shrimp cocktail (common). The smash burger needs to be eaten with a knife & fork, & the duck (+$3) was a generous portion with red meat sauce (?) & the corn nibs were okay.
The place was packed - & the service was excellent.
Would recommend giving this place a try.
Cozy little restaurant with a great ambiance & good service.
Food was great & the prices are really reasonable for the quality. Would definitely come back.
Food was amazing & the portions were great for the price! The atmosphere was also lovely, very cozy & quaint.
We were told about this place & decided to try it. Have to say, very disappointing with the food. Steak tartare was over salty, along with the salmon being overcooked. The burger was OK (it's a burger, what else does one expect). They have very limited options which isn't a bad thing, but at least cook them properly.
Out server was nice, young guy & the atmosphere is nice/cozy. Sadly, the food was a deal breaker so I wouldn't recommend or be returning here.
Cozy little restaurant with a great ambiance & good service. I went for their special night-time'menu table d'hôte', the portions were good & the taste was okay. The price point is fair too. Good experience.
What a charming spot - highly recommend.
From the moment we walked in, the space felt quaint, cozy, & inviting. The service struck a perfect balance between polished & relaxed, which made for a really enjoyable dining experience.
Everything we ordered was delicious - the Caesar salad, roast chicken, beef tartare, & truffle fries were all standout dishes. The spicy margarita was great, but the espresso martinis we had as a nightcap were definitely the highlight.
One small note: I'd recommend asking for the truffle sauce on the lighter side. While the flavour was excellent, the fries at the bottom of the plate became quite saturated, making them a bit too rich to finish. That said, the truffle fries paired perfectly with the beef tartare.
Dessert was beautifully presented, though a touch heavy on the chocolate - one of the cream puffs ended up a bit soggy. Still, this didn't take away from what was easily our best dining experience during our time in Montreal.
We'd absolutely love to come back.

Very small & cozy restaurant with great staff , I got the truffle spaghetti & it was amazing . For sure I am gonna come back
