Exceptional experience in the bad way for booking (it's very cumbersome, e.g. I needed to give a deposit, to approve the house rules, to approve the dietary restrictions, to approve & select one of the degustation menus even if optional - the'PLEASE ANSWER QUESTIONS TO COMPLETE YOUR RESERVATION!' is rather intimidating) & in the good way for all the rest. Very good service. The meals are unique & tasty, made with original ingredientsView more
one of my favourite restaurants in Montreal - nice food, little hidden spot, cool staff & a cool bar downstairs - i recommend it to everyone:)View more
Absolutely amazing sushi I have ever had in my life. Top notch product & service.View more
It was okay.
The service is not good. We waited 15 minutes for our reservation. It sucks knowing you charge a no-show fee & when I show up at my appointed time you don't have a table for me, stuck in a corner where the waiters need to come all the time to get their wines.
Our table ordered all the same drinks, but the beer pours were completely uneven.
The food was okay. Nothing to be excited about. They'll bring it to you however they feel like - which is normally okay, but we got out last dish maybe 15 minutes after everything else was gone coming.
Also, we had maybe 5 different servers that were way too rushed.
I don't think I'd come back.View more
Great food, must love fish ! Seating is mostly around the bar where they prepare food. Pricing is affordable. Great wine list & great ambiance. You have to male réservations in advance its quite popular.View more
Cool restaurant with great interiors & a cool concept. However, when we walked in (with a reservation), no one greeted us, & there isn't much of a waiting area since the place is so small. It felt a bit awkward just standing by the door without any staff acknowledging us. The menu is on the smaller side, & my husband has some gut health issues, so he asked if a few dishes could be modified slightly. Unfortunately, the response was an immediate'no.' without offering any alternatives. The waiter wasn't rude, but that just created a weird vibe for us, so we left. It just didn't seem like the right spot for us. That said, others around us seemed to really enjoy their meals.View more
Chilled out resto with the best chicken nanban of lifeView more
I seriously had one of the best meals of my life here a couple of days ago. Our server was an absolute delight & helped our group of 5 make our selections &, omg, the food was delicious. Do not leave this place without trying the duck! I will recommend Fleurs&Cadeaux to anyone who will listen.View more
If you like a stronger cocktail that's served up, def give their kimagure with yoichi a try.View more
Food was overall excellent, we ordered the albacore tataki, the duck, the agedashi tofu & the lamb ramen. The tataki was very well done, fish was very fresh & the outsides were very nicely charred. The wasabi chimichurri was a perfect accompaniment. The duck was flavourful, moist & also charred very well on the outside, but we personally found the mushroom & accompanying veg to clash with the flavour slightly. The lamb ramen was the highlight of the dinner, the lamb chashu was generous, tasty & the texture was wonderful whilst the lamb broth itself felt like a hug. The noodles were also very well done, & still had a bite to them.
Service was also friendly & accommodating. Hope to be back soon!View more
A unique dining experience! The building has a charming vintage feel, & part of the kitchen is right in the middle of the restaurant, giving it an energetic, interactive vibe. We sat at the bar & loved watching the action unfold. We ordered the chicken nanban, the temaki sushi, & the aged miso duck dish. All were delicious, but the chicken was definitely the standout for me. The bathroom layout is a bit awkward, but it's a minor detail. Overall, I'd definitely come back again!View more
This was our first trip to Montreal & this was our favorite restaurant on the trip. We had the tasting menu & the food was great all around. The sashimi with the lemony sauce & the duck breast were my favorites. We also had some gin cocktails that were really good.
The atmosphere is cool & we were able to see some of the cooking & preparation of sashimi from our place at the bar.
Overall we really enjoyed it & would definitely recommend!View more
View more
2ieme visite: Tout comme la première fois, j'adore toutes les saveurs qu'ils offrent. Vraiment excellent!! À bientôt!

Carte de sake impressionnante, nourriture delicieuse.

Nice little hidden gem in Chinatown. The food was really good, felt like fine dining without the fine dining price. There are many great options to choose from & almost everything was very tasty. Reservations are definitely required for this place. The service was good, courteous & knowledgeable.
We ordered the chicken namban, agedashi tofu, donburi, sea urchin butter with bread & the lamb ramen. The ramen was the highlight for us, it was really flavorful & brought us back to Japan. The sea urchin was very tasty too, but if didn't feel like it had all that much seaurchin in the dish to be called a sea urchin dish. The donburi was also very tasty, though the nori was stale & took quite a bit of chewing. The tofu & the chicken namban were my least favorite. The tofu was a bit plain, though the sauce was very tasty. The chicken was a bit mushy & didn't really fit the rest of the meal, where everything was very well crafted.View more
The sashimi was a mix of hits & misses, the scallops were especially fresh & delicious, but the salmon was not fresh at all. The Agedashi Tofu was excellent, & the duck dish was also quite good. The environment is fair; a bit old & not particularly Japanese in style, but still acceptable. However, the biggest downside was the price, portions were quite small, making it feel overpriced for what we received.View more
À chaque fois, l'expérience est mémorable. Le service est excellent, la nourriture juste du wow. À bientôt, encore !View more
