Fleurs & Cadeaux sells you an experience. This place has a great cozy ambiance. Sitting at the bar feels like a luxury as you watch the chefs prepare your dishes. I recommend getting the aged duck. It melts in your mouth. Don't skip out on the chirashi sushi either. The food is a bit on the pricier side but definitely worth stopping by.

We had a really nice dinner here through the week - just as a walk in. We sat at the bar & Arthur did a great job looking after us & taking us through the menu. We ended up going for a tasting menu so we had a wide range of things; egg, sashimi, veg, agadashi tofu & scallops to finish things off alongside some recommended sake. Everything was spot on, both sake choices worked well, the sashimi was wonderfully fresh & well presented while the scallops with the caramelised butter were the best dish of the night. The cocktail options had some nice twists with Japanese ingredients - it takes a bit of bravery to put soy sauce in a cocktail.
Prices seemed fair for Montreal, while you could spend more if you really went for it, it felt bang on the money.
Service was, of course, excellent & the restaurant felt busy without ever being noisy. This feels like a hidden gem, from the outside it seems like a cheap, unassuming Asian restaurant, inside it's actually a very nicely laid out, distinctly Japanese, restaurant.

This place never disappoints. I came here a few years ago & loved my meal so much, I came back a second time in the same week. Just visited again while in Montreal & it was just as good if not better. Service is fantastic. Sitting at the bar gives you a front row seat to an impressive kitchen. Will be back again!

Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you. Step through the doors & you're transported into a moody, quaint, vibey little world that feels like a well-kept secret. We grabbed seats at the bar, & it turned out to be the perfect vantage point - great energy, easy conversation with the staff, & a front-row view of the kitchen at work.

The food matched the atmosphere. We ordered the sashimi, the duck, & a shiitake mousse dish, & every plate delivered. Thoughtful, well-executed, & full of flavor.

This was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip. Whether you're a local or just passing through Montreal, Fleurs & Cadeaux is well worth seeking out.

So much more than a sushi place!

Artful takes on ingredients transform them into sublime bites. The tamago in dashi, vegetable du hour with sesame sauce, seared duck with miso, & holy smokes - the soy sauce ice cream! The sushi is perfect, too.

Sitting at the bar allows for a great view of the chef's techniques. A must for my visits to Montréal.
