Review Summary

Reviews describe Flavour of India as having a stylish, elegant interior that feels intimate and a bit hidden in the area. Food is repeatedly praised for authentic Indian flavors and good value, with fish pakora, samosas, palak paneer and lamb bhuna among the standout dishes. Butter chicken is noted as creamy and rich by some, while others feel it lacked cream and tasted more like a tomato sauce. Many diners call it the best Indian food in Montreal and appreciate friendly, attentive staff. Service is described as pleasant and helpful, though sometimes slow, and ambience can be affected by background music videos and occasional content that some find distracting. A few visits mention rude hosts or long waits and water not being offered readily, but these experiences are outweighed by the overall positive sentiment. Diners also praise generous portions, quality naan and biryani, and a variety of menu options that make the place a reliable, affordable option for family and friends.

I love the interior design of the restaurant, so elegant & hidden in thr area. The food is superb & the price is affordable compare to other Indian cuisines. You have to try their fish pakora, it's the 👌.

Edit: prices have slightly increased & this is sadly no longer a buffet. Offers a fantastic & diverse Indian buffet for a very affordable price. Typically with buffets, the quality of the food suffers in favor of quality, but this is not the case here. Will definitely be returning.
