Always great service, been multiple time, food is affordable & taste super good, no idea if authentic, but doesn't matter to me as I love it!
Neighborhood resto. Not pretentious. Very reasonable prices. Attentive/fast service. Popular
Good Indian food
Extremely fresh, piping hot, fairly priced, & the best vindaloo I've had in all of Montreal. I'm going to come back here again & again. Even at the end of the day, the veggies in the soup were perfectly crisp (not too crunchy & not too soft). No idea how they did that! I came in 30 mins before close & they welcomed me with amazing service. Love this place!
Nous avons été chercher un poulet au beurre, poulet au curry & de l'agneau karma & tout était tellement délicieux. Pas trop épicé & a convenu à tous les goûts. Un service rapide & à bon prix.
This was the most disappointing Indian food I have ever eaten!! Ordered an expensive Tandoori shrimp dish that was more spicy than I asked for, & basically that was all you could taste! No other flavour profiles! Actually threw it in the garage! Yuck, yuck & yuck again.
I rarely write reviews. This was singularly the worst Indian food I have eaten anywhere in Montreal. Can't believe people keep coming back. Lukewarm dishes as bland an uninspiring as can be. Time to get a new chef . I used to come here years ago & t was great then... fresh, spicy & authentic......Never again! The only relief was the ongoing comedy with the waiter.who at one point disappeared outside to pick a few fresh chillies off a plant on the patio we requested. Hilarious!
I didn't have the highest of expectations because I had my favorite Indian restaurant that closed & had all their tasty flavors swirling in my head but this restaurant was AMAZING! I ordered through UberEats & the food was everything I was craving & more. Beautifully seasoned, fresh, tasty, well cooked & nice portions. Worth it from every perspective! My favorite dishes which I guarantee I'll be reordering (very likely again tonight haha), Onion Bhaji, Butter Chicken & the Shrimp Malai is drool worthy! Lamb Dansk is also good but a bit spicier than I can take. Biryani vegetable rice & naan bread just made the whole meal complete!
A really good kitchen!
The nan breads are big & delightful & you can request them a little crisper if you like them that way.
I have never been disappointed here in 3 years of loyal attendance.
Excellent preparation of traditional Indian dishes.
I believe it to be the best standard in Montreal.
I went there with my friend, the guy who served us was really gentle with my friend, but totally rude with me. But anyway, we dont come there for the staff, but for their excellente food! We orderes a Butter chicken plate with Tandoori Chicken.... The food was awesome, will go there again for sure.... Expecting to be served by a different person LOL
Probably amongst the few Indian restaurants with authentic cuisine. The beef Vindaloo, the butter chicken, the naan bread, were simply delicious. Service was excellent. As always, dessert was on the house. Will definitely return with our friends.
My local Indian resto, that I've been going to for years now. The best in the neighbourhood with reliably good food, don't use MSG or other food additives so no stomach issues! Super friendly & know all their regulars. Good quality/quantity/price for takeout & their lunch specials are an amazing deal! Having tried 2 other Indians nearby over the years, but Etoile des Inde is the only one we frequent now. Highly recommend for eat in or takeout.
Mediocre food , extremely rude staff. Dirty utensils . I definitely do not recommend this place.
