just another highway rubbery.
everyone is talking about Milos,so I we decided to try it.
the food was OK,I can't say it was really good,just normal cooking,probably my wife can cook a bit better than that,& I don't know who is buzzing out there in the management team,but those prices are a joke.
140$ per person.for what reason?at least if they had a chef I would say,you know what,there is a reason for it,but they don't even have a chef,nor Greek cooks,so I don't know,I am a bit upset.
hopefully people will wake up & start to invest their money properly.

Every time I come to Milos, you can taste the freshness of each dish. I could live on the crab cakes alone. Simple food done right. Not much else to say except it's definitely a must try.

Nous sommes allez avec ma femme dans ce restaurant dont la réputation n'est plus a faire... Un beau décor, un service impeccable, cependant la nourriture certes bonne & fraiche n'était absolument pas ce a quoi je m'attendais pour un prix pareil, nous avions commander en plat principal un poisson grillé (un vivaneau par défaut car peu de choix)...
En résumé un très beau contenant pour un contenu trop simple pour justifier un prix si élevé...
La prochaine fois je me fais un bon poisson au bbq chez nous & je garde les 200$ pour me faire un autre bon restaurant.

Le repas que nous avons mangé était bon, mais sans plus. Considérant la réputation de ce restaurant, nous avions certaines attentes. La salade de tomates en entrée n'était pas très goûteuse, les tomates étant molles & ordinaires. Le dessert (loukoumades) était décevant. Nous y sommes allés dans le cadre de Montréal à table alors peut-être les serveurs étaient-ils débordés, mais le service laissait à désirer. Nous avons eu l'impression d'être expédiés. De plus, la table qui nous avait été assignée etait située juste à côté du comptoir où les serveurs passent & prennent les commandes. Il y avait donc toujours un troupeau de personnes ayant des conversations personnelles dérangeantes. En bref, expérience plutôt ordinaire.

Ce restaurant ne mérite pas nécessairement sa réputation. Bonne nourriture, mais pas à ces prix exorbitants. J'ai aussi remarqué une clientèle très âgée sur les quelques fois où que je suis allé, ce qui n'est pas un signe prometteur pour un resto.

La pieuvre est délicieuse.

Yes, it's expensive but on par for the quality & experience. It's a high end Greek/Seafood restaurant experience. One of my top 10 favorites in Montreal. You can't miss. Business lunch/dinner? Your party/client will be very pleased. Romantic evening? Your significant other will be 'blown' away. Enjoy.
