The fish is priced per pound although it is freshly caught & a huge variety to choose from. The dishes are always top-notch, can never go wrong with the Milos classics. The service is always top tier & it never disappoints.
Very beautiful restaurant. I ordered & shared the milos special, grilled sea bream, & also the tomato salad (Greek). I also had the baklava dessert with icecream. Food was phenomenal & delicious. Expensive for what it is but great I went for the first time.
Great service from our waitress who took the time to introduce us to the fish market & explained everything. She was on point with everything & made our experience her worth coming back. We ordered a variety of dishes & my favorite was the Sepia & the Black Sea Bass with the amazing dessert that they offer. Baklava & Greek yogurt was def a must have to finish the night here.
Gorgeous restaurant. Very expensive, but one of those places that makes it worth it. What's interesting is the main dishes are expensive, but they are normal expensive, the appetizers are the ones that stick out. Fried zucchini for $30+... very good, like extremely good, just expensive. We had 4 people, with tax & tip it was $750+ with drinks included. The restaurant itself is very well designed. Extremely pretty & the service was fantastic. The very unique thing was the waiter who guided us to the fish market area (away from our table) to explain each fish so we could be knowledgeable when ordering. We got the milo special (amazing), the octopus (this was good but not crispy enough imo, but the fava beans on the dish tasted like smooth hummus, very good), the cuddle fish (I think they call it spina, is a traditional Greek dish) which was tasty. For mains we had lobster spaghetti, lamb, tuna, & snapper which we all shared. The spaghetti lobster was the stand out.
We recently dined at Milos in Montreal & had a mixed experience. Although we had a reservation, we waited 15 minutes to be seated. I ordered a specific Greek wine, which I clearly pointed out & named, but they brought a different, more expensive bottle instead. I only noticed this after we left & checked the receipt; the wine looked unfamiliar, though I trusted the server at the time & even ordered a second bottle. We also ordered fish as sashimi, but were advised another type would be better served this way. However, when we agreed to switch, we were told it was too late-a suggestion that felt unnecessary if it couldn't be changed. The food itself, though, was exceptional. Every dish was beautifully prepared, & each bite was a delight. However, we encountered an inconvenience with the billing: instead of individual receipts, we were given one single bill, with no option for separate checks as we would have preferred. Overall, Milos offers outstanding food, but the experience was overshadowed by these service issues. A bit more attention to detail & flexibility could greatly improve the dining experience here.
One of the best Greek restaurants in Canada. Exceptional quality, everything was done to perfection.
Milos is a standout choice for those seeking an upscale Greek dining experience in Montréal. Upon entering Milos, guests are greeted by an elegant & refined atmosphere that perfectly balances modern sophistication with traditional Greek charm. The tasteful decor, featuring white linen tablecloths & subtle nautical touches, creates a serene environment that transports diners to the Aegean Sea. One can expect fresh quality ingredients, expertly crafted dishes, & exceptional service, The menu showcases a variety of dishes that highlight the vibrant flavors of Greece, Whether celebrating a special occasion or enjoying a night out, diners can expect a memorable experience that delights the senses & leaves a lasting impression.
Best Greek food in the world. Continues to set the benchmark that others cannot compete with. Starts with the finest quality ingredients.
Great greek restaurant. Delicious cocktails & great variety of Greek wine. Very professional & great quality food from fresh fish to good warm focaccia bread. We were set at the bar, & it was more calm than in the dinning room so 1+ for that. Thank you for the night !
Lunch Menu review. Reserve before you go, it gets busy. Choices of entrees on the Table d'Hote that I can remember: lentil soup, octopus, calamari & Greek salad. At our table we had the octopus which was good. The rest of us had Greek salads. They were ok. For the mains we had salmon & chicken brochettes. The chicken & fries were a huge hit. The salmon served with beans was ok. The tarama is good. For dessert we tried karidopita, galaktobouriko & Greek yoghurt. All ok. The mountain tea is delightful. The service was excellent. The price per person 45$. Good value. Worth going.
Not even an exaggeration when I say that this is THE BEST restaurant in the world. Whenever I'm traveling & a Milos is in the city, I go. No questions about it. The quality of the food & service is unparalleled. This place feels like the Greek home cooking I grew up with. If I was rich, I'd eat here every night because all the dishes are absolutely mouth-watering. You should need no convincing to give this place a try. It's quite literally infamous.
The food exceeded expectations. An authentic Greek experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, complemented by chill music & excellent service.
Decent high end restaurant that seems to run mostly on its reputation. Food is fresh but definitely overpriced, especially considering the excellent Greek restaurant scene in Montreal/Laval. Most (if not all) of the more exotic fish were already sold out, with mostly sea bass & red snapper left. Deboning was superficial, with multiple very obvious & less obvious bones left in the filets. Most of the appetizers are average & better executed in some much more casual Greek restaurants, often for a third of the price.
Go for the chips...No; I'm not kidding, go for the zucchini chips at the really fancy Greek place...
Beautiful Mediterranean (Greek) restaurant, ambiance, service, staff & food was exceptional. Extremely fresh ingredients & worth every penny spent. The decor & set up in every part of this location is most simple yet elegant & tasteful. I highly recommend this place, whether in family, couple, friends, even if it's for just a drink & an appetizer or two. The bar area allows for seating & dining as well.
Ok food but overpriced . Way overpriced. Better Greek restaurants are cheaper but here you pay to be seen. Service needs to improve. The ambience is nice. Cheaper menu after 10pm, which makes sense.
Delicious seafood restaurant with oysters & lobster. This is a greek cousin restaurant, so we take a Milos special made from cukini & aubergine with tzatziki. Our waiter George was marvellous & helpful in every moment. Thank You George & other staff. Se You again next time when we come to visit Montreal.
This is a must have if you find yourself in Montreal. Treat yourself to a full spread & don’t miss out on the Milo’s Special & Greek Spread (hummus trio). Service is superb as well.
