Absolute 11/10 cafe experience here. Staff were incredible, vibe was awesome & I had a top 10 coffee of my life there. It tasted like fuzzy peaches! This is an MTL must visit

Have been visiting Eclair for years whenever in Montreal. They have an exceptional approach to coffee, sourcing some of the best beans in the world & preparing beverages with uncompromising attention to detail. All of the staff I've interacted with are knowledgeable & passionate about their work. The cafe itself is beautiful, clad in green & white, & stocking an eclectic mix of books which decorate the walls. Highly recommended, one of my favourite cafés.
Le café & la barista sont extraordinaires. La déco & les bancs verts ont de la classe, l'ambiance est parfaite. Je pense qu'on retournerait plus souvent si il y avait plus d'employés derrière le comptoir.
J'ai trouvé ce café par hasard après un jogging. De l'extérieur ça ne paraissait pas super prometteur mais, un fois entrée, j'ai été extrêmement surprise. Service chaleureux par des connaisseurs & café à faire rêver. Je recommande fortement!
Der Kaffee hier kann einiges. Die Bohnen von Sey und The Barn sind von höchster Qualität und machen einen Zwischenstopp hier sehr lohnenswert. Die Aufteilung des Cafés (Bereich zum Sitzen/Servicebereich) ist nicht so meins, aber das ist ja Ansichtssache. Der Service war top und das Ambiente sehr entspannt.
Clearly the best cafe in town. Such passion & knowledge of coffee! I never drank coffee. & since trying theirs & Sebastian's expertise, I'm converted. &, it feels communal, like a little trip to South America, which is a wonderful extra 😍
This is the spot for quiet chats, slow delicious coffee, & intimate experiences with the baristas. It's the spot I repeatedly recommend to friends & family. Came here after a funeral on my first visit: Jair, the head barista, thoughtfully & patiently prepared me & my partner several coffees. The comfort & ease of his work & presence was so welcoming at that time. I've been coming back since for the past 3 years & have always had gentle, attentioned service from all staff members. If you are looking for a quick in'n'out drink, this is not quite the place for that nor is it the philosophy of the café, but if you are looking for a pause, an escape, & an intimate conversation around coffee, it's worth the wait 100% Remember that those serving us coffee are doing the best that they can do & when we as clients allow the patience for good service & drink, we find ourselves returning again & again until the café becomes our second home.
One of the best cafes in the city. Always serving super high quality beans from international roasters. Coffee is always dialed to perfection. I really love how the layout is like a bar, it encourages you to make conversation with others. I've had really great experiences here chatting with the staff as well as with other customers. Prices are also very fair considering the cost & quality of the coffees they carry.
