La Tratt is a great spot for tasty Italian food. The wood-fired pizza is absolutely delicious, with a perfect crust & fresh toppings. Their baked goods are just as good & worth trying. The staff is super friendly & make you feel welcome. The only downside is the small seating area, but the food is so good it's worth it. Definitely recommend stopping by for a quick stop or take out.
Deli La Trattoria is easily one of the best spots in the West Island. The variety of food is impressive, with fresh sandwiches & delicious Italian specialties that never disappoint. The pizza is the best we've had since moving to Montreal 3 years ago. This is despite the fact that the crust was floppy (which I dislike). The margarita had an excellent sauce, & the truffle puree on the other was the same.
Grabbed a chicken sandwich after reading the reviews here & wasn't impressed. There was nothing in there other than the cutlet & a bit of coleslaw & even with the added sauce it was dry. Decent sized portion but lackluster meal. Will try pizzas next time
The sandwiches are really delicious, they are my favorites, but I don't give them 5 stars because I bought a pistachio gelato & it tasted weird, as if it had been in the fridge for a long time, & the truth is that it was very unpleasant & I had to throw it away. Please do something to avoid those flavors.
