This trattoria is an absolute treasure. Every visit feels like stepping into a cozy corner of Italy, & the food never fails to impress. Their sandwiches are hands-down the best around-packed with fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned fillings, & bread so good it could stand on its own.
The wood-oven pizza is another standout. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with that signature smoky flavor only a true wood-fired oven can create. Every slice is crafted with care & tastes absolutely incredible.
& the cannolis? Simply amazing. The shells are perfectly crisp, the filling creamy & delicately sweet-pure perfection. They're the kind of dessert you think about days later.
But what truly sets this place apart is the heart behind it. The owners & staff are genuinely amazing-warm, welcoming, & always treating guests like family. Their passion for great food & authentic hospitality shines through in every detail.

Delicious Italian deli with amazing sandwiches, fresh cannolis, & a dessert section that's truly a must-try! The quality of the food is always top-notch. The only thing I'd love to see improved is the cappuccinos - a little upgrade there would make the place absolutely perfect. Still highly recommended!
A west island landmark. Great bakery, Italian pantry & café. From bakery al taglio pizza to wood burning oven napolitan style. From espresso to gelato this place has it all. A top rated lunch spots or even to grab quick italian essentials & goodies.
What I love about Deli La Trattoria:
1) The place is busy depending on the times & days.
2) They cater to Italian 🇮🇹 products.
3) Location is perfect because near the highway & main roads.
4) The store looks clean & well maintained. They speak French & English
What I did not like:
1) Not enough benches for eating outside & parking lot may be full.
2) The store is small so selections may be limited & it feels narrow.
3) Some Pret à Manger items may not be available.
Final thoughts:
A) I tried their Sous-Marin sandwich & it was delicious They warm it for you & the service is kind & polite. It's a go out & try it. God Bless you for that.
B) Please add flags of USA 🇺🇸 Italy 🇮🇹 Canada 🇨🇦 & Quebec for patriotic symbolism if you can.

this is our go-to place for wood oven pizza, we've been coming here for over 5 years & they never disappoint! our fave is their margherita pizza & their tartufuta! they also sell frozen goods, gelato, coffee, wine & LOTS of Italian products! we love ordering their focaccia & some cold cuts & cheese to-go for a quick picnic snack!
A must visit when in the West Island. The food is absolutely insanely good. The sauces, the sandwiches... EVERYTHING. The staff serve you with pride & are dedicated to your satisfaction. Questions, they will go over the food with you. Also, a very nicecselction of Italian staples, pasta, peppers... I could go on but you need to experience this place....
The best Italian store in Montreal. The staff at the dessert section were incredibly warm, friendly, & absolutely lovely. Their kindness truly created a beautiful & pleasant experience. The handmade oven-baked pizzas & the Italian grocery store gave off such a comforting & authentic vibe. It was a genuinely delightful visit!

La Tratt has been a staple for Italian paninis for years but the sausage panini this last visit was far below previous experiences. The nutella cookies are still on point! Will re-consider 5 stars next visit!
La Tratt is a great spot for tasty Italian food. The wood-fired pizza is absolutely delicious, with a perfect crust & fresh toppings. Their baked goods are just as good & worth trying. The staff is super friendly & make you feel welcome. The only downside is the small seating area, but the food is so good it's worth it. Definitely recommend stopping by for a quick stop or take out.

This place is sick! Sandwiches & pizza, freshly made & delicious. One of the only Italia restaurant/delis in the city that deserves to call itself an Italian trattoria; the quality of the ingredients is incredible.
Always had great experiences at La Tratt. The latest one really stole the show. The staff was amazingly helpful, going so far as helping me to my car after I bought too much to carry myself. Definitely the go to place for any Italian foods.
