I went for lunch & had a hard time choosing something. The Cobb salad sounded awesome, the chicken sandwiches, the avocado toast, their version of a poutine... in the end I had the Portobello mushroom smash burger, (fyi, it's not a veggie burger & comes with 2 meat patties). It was really really good! Comes with a side salad, also very yummy, & another choice of side. The service & portions are great, the prices are exceptional, the decor & layout feels good & it was easy to talk compared to other breakfast places. Read their story in the menu, everything is made fresh & recipes come from a Michelin star chef! Yolks is definitely not just a breakfast place & I need to go back to try more of the menu.
Excellent! Loved this restaurant! The food was great, restaurant was clean & staff very friendly - great service! What stood out was the food quality. Everything from the in house ketchup, free-run eggs, & sourdough bread was so fresh!! My brother had the chicken & waffles (hand breaded in house) & said it was amazing! We'll be back!
Excellent food, fresh ingredients, & perfectly prepared dishes every time. The staff is friendly, attentive, & makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. One of the best brunch spots in Montreal-I highly recommend it!

Busy restaurant! Fresh ingredients & tasty. The menu is different from your typical breakfast place. We had a good time at Yoks. Breakfast sandwich was my favorite. Their spicy ketchup isn't very good. Service was good & chairs/booth are comfortable. A bit pricy. When you leave they give you a coupon for a discount on your next visit.
Excellent Benedicts cooked to your liking. I had the Salmon/Avacado/Arugula Benedict. It was perfectly balanced & topped with a delicious Hollandaise accentuated with fresh Dill.
The Ceasars were a little thicker than I prefer but still tasty. Although an extra green bean would not have hurt.
Traveled all the way from California to finally try this place after hearing so many great things about it. I'm happy to say it absolutely lived up to the hype. The food was outstanding, everything was fresh & full of flavor, & the staff went above & beyond to make the experience memorable. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Thanks Steve, you have raised the bar for breakfast. This is one of the best breakfast meals I have ever had! Poached eggs, perfect, French toast with fresh fruit & maple syrup, perfect! Coffee from Agros in BC, perfect. I bought two bags of coffee beans.
The bright open space & excellent service from Tatyana were exceptional. This is now part of my Montreal trip.
