There is only 2 choices for eggs, so you would think that they would know how to cook them correctly. I asked for poched eggs mollet. My egg was so overcooked that the yolk did not run. The toasts were cold & hard. The waiter did not come to ask if we wanted coffe refills. Needless to say I will not return there.
My friend was also very disappointed in the quality of her breakfast.
It is a beautiful place to go have good Breakfast. I got the waffle chicken with benedict egg. It was so good. The staff were friendy.
Modern cafe & nature vibes - sophisticated breakfast restaurant. ☕?🌷
Not too noisy or too quiet, just the perfect balance between life & death. 🫠🪦
Formula one trained cooks which deliver your food before you even finished ordering. 🏎?🧑?🍳
I recommend trying their deepfried avocado options they sound weird but aren't & taste really good.
The eggs here are actually super tasty & are the restaurant's main specialty as they're sourced from some special farm somewhere I forgot where but you don't need to know you can just trust the process. 🗣?💯
For dessert I went for a single cinammon roll pancake, the plate comes with 5 usually as to comply with the diabetic demands of the consumers obviously.. 🩸📈
The location is perfect, sandwhiched right between the donut shop nextdoor & the gym just to test your decision making capabilities & discipline 🤨🫵.

Visited for a birthday brunch on a Sunday. It was a very busy morning with a big crowd at the front, & we waited about 30 minutes to be seated.
?The birthday person really enjoyed the chicken & waffles, which was the highlight! However, my own meal (the Eggs Benedict) arrived a bit cold. It seemed like the kitchen was just spread very thin because of the Sunday rush, as it looked like several tables around us were also waiting quite a while for their orders.
?The staff was friendly & the place has a nice vibe, but the food temperature & the long wait for a table made it just an'okay' experience this time. Great potential, but hopefully more consistent during the next rush.
I got the chicken & waffles plate. Tbh, I wouldn't have been able to tell apart the food from a piece of cardboard. The chicken was bland, emaciated & cooked to high hell. I think it comes frozen & prefried & refried to order. The waffles were boring. The pickled jalapenos make no sense being on the plate. The poached egg was hard when asked for medium.
That being said, the service was really good & the restaurant is well designed. I really liked the esthetics of the place. Bathroom is super clean. Easy to reserve tables for a large group.
Anyways, first & last time for me. Way better breakfast places in Montreal for better prices.
The menu revolves around poached eggs, which might be great if you love them. I don't. I swapped for scrambled eggs but they were bland & dry. The waffle was good. The homemade tots were delicious.
The fried chicken was just okay. A bit dry & not the typical crispy fried chicken you expect, especially when it's paired with waffles. Also, how are chicken & waffles not automatically served with maple syrup? In Quebec? 🤯
That feels like a crime.
Our waitress was very nice but seemed new. We had to ask a few times for condiments & coffee refills. The place is also quite loud, so conversation wasn't the easiest.
Not a bad brunch, just not one I'd rush back for.
Food was delivered cold, our coffee was full of coffee grinds. I asked for eggs without chives. Got chives. Waitress was very nice & service was good. Disappointing. Not going back.
Disappointing first visit to Yolks. The fruit looked overripe & unappealing, my poached eggs were way overcooked, & the service was very slow. Considering the high prices, the experience definitely didn't match the cost. I wouldn't recommend it.
Ordered Benedict with Portobello mushrooms. The eggs are fine but the Portobello was not fresh & tasteless. Cafe is included, however, it's not tasting like coffee! Service is mediocre & the atmosphere is noisy. We were 2 & it seems that thos place doesn't welcome us as 2 is too few for them?! Very disappointed!
I visited on a Saturday at 11am & it was busy, however the service was great from the beginning. The staff were so kind! I tried the avocado toast & it was pretty good. The eggs were also cooked perfectly to my liking.
The prices are about the same as almost any breakfast place nowadays 😬 but overall I really enjoyed everything here. The fresh orange juice was very good!
What a lovely addition to the West Island, all-around 5 stars!! Our waiter was so sweet & helpful, really top-notch service. He recommended the Ancho Pork Belly Eggs Benedict which did not disappoint!! Also, don't get me started on the yolks tots :') Haven't enjoyed a breakfast place this much in a while, will most definitely be back!!
Atmosphere was alive & very busy which tells me that it's the breakfast place to be in the area. The service was very good, I would have put 5 stars, but because of whoever washed the coffee cups, I was met with another woman's lipstick on my cup, it survived the wash cycle. I drank from it, but at least it wasn't on the stain itself. My friend noticed it & told said'your lipstick does not match the one on the cup' 😵?💫. Our server promptly replaced my cup & coffee, hence the 4 stars remain. It's my first time ever seeing a restaurant with only 2 ways of cooking eggs, I had to settle with poached eggs. It was quite tasty, I just expected an establishment that specializes in brunch to have over-easy. Aside from that, my experience still deserves a 4 start rating. Will be returning for the atmosphere, the service & those poached eggs.
Fun new breakfast place in the West island. A little pricey but they have home made options which is always great. The sauces from the ketchup to the jam & their different hot sauces are homemade & delicious. You can't get every type of egg, which was a little disappointing but good to step out of your breakfast comfort zone. You can enjoy scrambled or poached eggs there. No sunnyside or overcast eggs (if you're in the mood for eggs). You can build your own breakfast which is always a nice option.
Different from most breakfast places, eggs are either poached or scrambled. ... no fried eggs
Absolutely amazing. Eggs are perfectly cooked & presentation of good is a work of art!
This place is insanely good. Really. Just try it. It's not your typical breakfast. But it's worth it compared to other pretentious places that serve you eggs for 30$!
😊 Just back from an epic breakfast at Yolks DDO Sources & I'm still raving about it! 🌟 Our group of 11 foodies was blown away by the extensive menu & phenomenal food. Huge shoutout to Tatiana, our amazing waitress - her service was top-notch! Attentive, friendly, & always on top of our needs 💕.
My Frit-Tot-A Fungi dish was a game-changer: roasted portobello mushrooms, local goat cheese, spinach, scrambled eggs, & hollandaise... mind blown 😍! The whole group was equally impressed - we're talking rave reviews all around!
If you're looking for a breakfast spot that ticks all the boxes, Yolks DDO is the place! Can't wait to go back 💕

The food may as well had been motel breakfast. My eggs came out wrong, the toast was toasted on one side, the proteins came out a bit too soft.
The staff were very nice.
The kitchens seemed too overwhelmed for a soft open.
I can see how this restaurant is owned by the former owners of Jukebox's Burgers that had similar problems. Definitely would not recommend.
The choices in the menu were pretty limited. No way of getting a plate with a usual eggs & pancake without paying an expensive extra, had to have a plate with just 4 pancakes, very little sauce, no fruits or nothing else.
I had the yolks classic which is eggs, meat & bread. There was very little eggs in the plate, almost not enough for 1 piece of bread, they taste good though. The breakfast potatoes or tater tots were not good, was eating more fried stuff than potatoes.
The kids menu was disappointing, needed to add a bunch of extras to have something decent.
In summary, you don't really get a bit of everything in your plate, you need to add a lot of extras. Also the filter coffee for 2$ extra to add felt cheap & too expensive.
Also, the bathrooms did not have any heating
