Les présentations sont soignées, les ingrédients utilisés sont de grande qualité & l'équilibre des saveurs est très bien maîtrisé. L'équipe de service est professionnelle & attentionnée. Bien que le niveau de prix soit élevé, l'expérience offerte en vaut la peine.
The dishes were high quality & the service was fantastic. Our server, George, was attentive, kind, & very helpful in guiding us through the menu options. The food was served quickly, & everything was excellent.
We ordered the baba ghanoush as a starter, followed by the eggplant lamb kebab & the lamb shank, all of which were delicious.
It's on the pricier side, so it's a great choice for a special occasion.

C'était notre 3ème fois chez Damas & nous sommes toujours aussi séduits! Le menu est varié & les plats sont tous très savoureux! Mention spéciale pour cocktails que nous adorons également! Le service est toujours très professionnel & attentionné! Nous reviendrons sûrement bientôt 😉
Everything in this place makes you want to come back as fast as possible. The food menu is varied & the taste is so good. The service is impeccable whether at reception or at the table. The waiters know the dishes & help you understand the differences. I highly recommend.
This restaurant is very overpriced considering the food is only OKAY.
The sharing menu is 160$ & is NOT worth it . Extremely small portions .

Absolument sublime ! Un des meilleurs restaurant que j'ai eu la chance de faire dans ma vie. La cuisine est pleinement maîtrisée & chaque bouchée est à la fois une découverte & une explosion de saveurs en bouche. Il est également difficile de faire mieux niveau service tellement on est traité comme des rois. Ce n'est pas donné comme restaurant, mais il vaut sans aucune hésitation son prix. Le menu du brunch est une excellente alternative pour tester le restaurant à un prix abordable avant d'y aller le soir pour se payer l'expérience complète.
Amazing atmosphere & the staff were very attentive to details. The food… my god the food was phenomenal. We had the rack of ribs & the braised ribs as mains, with lamb dumplings & spicy potatoes as apps.
They also gave us complementary dishes for the delay in the service, (which we didnt mind at all) but just the attention let us know what kind of establishment Damas is.
Would highly reccomend, even if its a bit pricey. It is worth it. I will definitely come back!
Stay away from this place as much as you possibly can. $400 for 2 & it was total garbage. They also treat you like they are doing a favour in letting you inside their establishment (I would not call this a restaurant). Our waiter was rude & obnoxious. This is without a doubt, the worse place I have ever eaten in my life. If you are satisfied to pay over $400 for food barely worth $40. Go ahead. But you've been warned!!
Un brunch exceptionnel. Table d'hôte 3 services à 65$ plus 40$ pour l'accord des vins. Les sliders & l'accord Pigeon Hill était particulièrement apprécié. Une très belle salle à manger & une superbe cuisine ouverte. Service de tous charmant.
The food itself, is a far cry for me, from fine dining. Everything tastes decent but it was neither better nor more innovative than a really high quality Syrian restaurant that is 1/4 of the price. It was $400 for 3 people without alcohol. The only standout dish was the octopus. The lamb kebab from the charcoal grill was the only dish that was actually bad. The sauces & accompaniments were good but it was cooked poorly.
Admittedly, this is my cuisine so I am more critical, but in Toronto there is Byblos which elevates regular Mediterranean & I was hoping for a similar experience. Even the desserts were run of the mill, nothing innovative or interesting. They need to be elevated at a place like this.
Unfortunately I would not come again despite good service.

Very different experience from our other visits.
Our first three choices from the wine list were not available. Then we were given the bottom of a bottle from the previous night & we had to return it.
Several items on the menu were also missing; notably common items like fries & rice.
The fattoush was very ordinary & the shish taouk portion was smaller & served with bland potatoes.
Twice now we have been very disappointed; won't be going back any time soon.

EXCELLENT brunch. Je suis déjà venue pour le souper aussi. Le brunch est un moyen à plus petit prix d'accéder à la cuisine exceptionnelle du Damas. Je recommande vivement!
Probably my favourite restaurant in Montreal. Stand outs were the Rack of lamb, & lamb dumplings (Shish Borek). Even the ice cream with cotton candy was unique & memorable. Service was impeccable. Rack of lamb took awhile to come out but not an issue given how good the food was. Highly recommend
