I have tried other bbq restaurants, but this one was outstanding. The quantities, the flavor, the freshness, the service... everything was just right! The only downside is that you will end up smelling like smoke afterwards, but it's worth it.

De toute mes place de bbq coreen c est mon best,avant j allais au bbq coreen sur st cathetine mais il on fermee,je me suis rechecherche une autre place whow quel decouverte, c est pas la meme chose pn coupe la viande avec des ciseaux lorsque cuite & que firw du mais au fromage,c est ma grosse decouverte de l annee. Le service dynamique & plus que parfait , par des serveur chaleureux, j irrais a tout les mois
My favorite BBQ spot - every time I think of grilled meat, this place comes to mind right away! The atmosphere is warm & cozy, & the space is well-equipped with ventilation. The food is delicious - the beef is usually tender, & the side dishes like Japanese pancakes & soups are also great.
There was one time I had a cut of beef that was a bit tough, but maybe I didn't grill it the right way. Other than that, everything else is excellent. Highly recommended!
The best korean bbq in town. The food is tasty, & the service is amazing. We tried a la carte with a refillable sides option. We chose beef short rib, chicken, & another beef item. What I really loved is they have a vegetarian platter too with good variety.
We enjoyed the cooking, chatting, & eating & stayed there for almost 2 hours. They don't take reservations, & we had to wait around 30 minutes. But there are other restaurants around where you can snack while waiting.
They are open until late at night. Would recommend not to drive as it's very hard to find parking. Being a K-food lover, would love to visit again. 🥰🤩🤤
Food & atmosphere is good. Service is excellent; quick & efficient. What keeps us from going there more often is the logistics part. Unless youre walking or taking public transit (when it works), plan a good 1h-1h30 to find parking. Driving downtown Montreal takes lots of patience & zenitude. Alternatively, around that area for an extra 30-40$, there are Paid parking garage.
This place is incredible. Everything I had here was the best version of that food I've ever eaten. New favourite Korean BBQ I will never go anywhere else.

Très bon mais niveau service c'est 0.
À peine la dernière bouchée en bouche, pas fini nos boissons on nous a pressé, tout débarrassé & demander au moins 5 x en 10 min comment on faisait pour la facture.
La serveuse ne parlait que anglais, beaucoup de monde & de la musique assez forte on ne s'est pas comprit elle a amené une facture pour 4 alors que nous souhaitions payer séparément.
Elle n'a pas voulu refaire les factures séparées & nous a dit qu'il aurait fallu être plus clair.
Elle attendait à côté de nous après le paiement afin que nous libérions la table, c'était gênant ..
On a même pas eu la table 1h au total.
This KBBQ has two locations downtown, both operating on the same concept. all-you-can-eat banchan, a soup to share, at least an order of meat per guest. The pork belly with skin was excellent & the beef tenderloin melted in the mouth. The staff frequently made their rounds to refill the banchan, & they
showcased various flavors of soju. The inconvenience is that our coats smell like BBQ for a few days.
The best KBBQ I've experienced. I've been to many in the states (GA, Boston, NY), Montréal, & Vancouver. This specific Daldongnae location definitely trumps them all.
