Never come back again!! Rude & disrespectful attitude !! I've been here several times, & the service has been consistently terrible. The attitude of the staff is extremely rude & unprofessional, especially one male Asian server wearing glasses. His behavior was not only disrespectful & dismissive, but at one point, I also felt that I was being treated in a racially discriminatory manner. No customer should ever have to feel this way in a restaurant.
The servers almost never check on customers proactively. Every single time, we have had to go out of our way to find someone just to get basic service - bringing our food, providing napkins, or simply refilling our water. These are basic responsibilities of restaurant service, yet we constantly had to chase someone down to get them. The greasy, filthy floor was the final straw.
I've given this place enough chances. Never again.
The food is good as always, but unfortunately, the service really needs improvement. Compared to the other times I've been here, the service seems to be getting worse with each visit, & it takes away from the overall experience.
Service was very slow, & the staff were rarely available. When we were finally able to flag someone down for something, they often seemed bothered or unhappy to be helping us. The sides are supposed to be unlimited, but they were hardly ever refilled properly because they seemed to constantly run out of everything.
After the poor service we experienced, leaving an 18% tip felt unfair, especially when the level of service did not match what was expected. Thankfully, there is another location that seems to provide somewhat better service.
I really hope this location improves because the food itself continues to be good.
I've been here several times, & somehow the service gets worse every time. The staff are rude, dismissive, & completely uninterested in helping customers. We constantly had to chase someone down just to get water, napkins, or our food. Basic table service seems to be too much to ask.
The male Asian server with glasses was particularly rude & condescending. I genuinely felt that I was being treated differently because of my race. When we asked simple questions about the menu, instead of explaining the cuts of meat like a normal server would, he made us feel stupid for asking.
& the mandatory ordering policy is ridiculous: a group of 8 is required to order 8 portions of meat, regardless of what else we order. That's not hospitality - that's forced spending.
The restaurant was also filthy, with greasy floors that felt like a slipping hazard.
After multiple visits, I'm done. My friends & I will never come back. There are plenty of restaurants where customers are actually treated with basic respect.

La nourriture était bonne. L'expérience vaudrait la peine si le service était meilleur. Très peu d'explications (personne ne nous a dit que nous pouvions redemander certains sides sans frais additionnels donc nous avons pensé une bonne partie du repas que les portions étaient minuscule & décevante.) Certaines personnes du groupe sont arrivés plus tôt que l'heure de la réservation (10-15 min d'avance) & le compteur de 2h de la table a démarré avant que tous soient arrivé, avec des serveurs qui nous pressait de commander, alors que nous n'étions pas tous arrivé & que nous assumions que le 2h commençait à l'heure de réservation/ que tout le monde serait arrivé. Serveur très rapide aussi à enlever les plats presque vide & nous faire payer rapidement (avant que l'on aille fini de manger) alors que ça faisait uniquement 1h30 que nous étions arrivés. On s'est vraiment senti non désiré. Je pense que l'expérience aurait pu être bien, mais que le service a vraiment gâché l'expérience. Je ne recommanderais pas la version rue bishop, je ne sais pas si les autres Daldongnae sont mieux.
I booked this restaurant to celebrate a birthday, & it was an excellent choice! As Korean BBQ lovers, we were very impressed with the quality of the food. The meat was incredibly fresh, & all the ingredients were of excellent quality.
The service was friendly & attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was lively, warm, & perfect for a special celebration.
If you're looking for delicious Korean BBQ & a great place to celebrate with family or friends, I highly recommend this restaurant!
Pour ma première soirée à Montréal je suis allée mangé dans ce barbecue coréen. Je viens de France mais jai eu la chance d'aller en Corée au mois d'avril & ce barbecue est fidèle à ceux dans lesquels je suis allée manger là-bas 😃.
Je recommande c'est au top.
