I went for a cup of coffee & to study, & even though it was packed on a Saturday around 10:30 AM, I managed to find a spot. I ended up ordering through the phone to skip the huge line, & it was definitely the best decision. Everything was great. It's definitely worth the visit!
This place was jammed packed - I've veen wanting to go here forever. Unfortunately NOT wheelchair friendly - I went alone with my baby but was unable to get my stroller up to the coffee shop level (about 10 steps). Apparently access to a lift is difficult (as per security guard) & he did not offer to assist me at all ... i dont think I'll be going back any time soon
Lovely, very good coffee. A must visit. Lovely building. Very old nice place. You should go try it.
This is one of the coolest coffee shops I've ever been in. The building is just beautiful! We rented a meeting room for 13 people & it was a smooth, professional, easy experience. Highly recommend!!
I had the pleasure of visiting Crew Collective & Cafe L today, & I can honestly say it's one of the best coffee experiences I've ever had. The baristas were friendly & knowledgeable, taking the time to explain their different roasts & even suggesting a drink based on my preferences.
I tried their dulce de leche , & it was absolutely perfect - smooth, balanced, & rich with flavor. The latte art was a beautiful touch too! The shop itself has a cozy & historical vibe, with plenty of seating options for both individuals & groups. Plus, their selection of pastries was a great addition to the coffee.
What really stands out about this place is the attention to detail & the level of care they put into everything they do. I'll definitely be coming back for more, & I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates high-quality coffee & a great environment to relax or work.
Absolutely loved the ambience feels like stepping into a grand old cathedral with its high ceilings & classic architecture. Such a unique & elegant atmosphere to enjoy a great cup of coffee!
Not a coffee shop for rich people, Starbucks in cotes des neige is better than here. The coffee was very mediocre & the croissant was the worst I have ever tasted in my life, even worse than the croissant at provigo. I give this store a suggestion, raise the price & improve the food quality. The venue was overcrowded &
made me feel uncomfortable. I would rather pay $30 for a cup of coffee than drink coffee in this environment. The clerk at this coffee shop couldn't distinguish the names of the customers, causing many customers to wait there, which was very embarrassing. The clerk was poorly trained & didn't smile.
Breakfast for two on Tuesday morning.
1 x chicken blt sandwich
1 x avocado toast
2 orange juice + 1 coffee
The ingredients are fresh & generous. However the avocado toast is very difficult to eat with all the balsamic drizzle. It requires a steak knife but you are sitting on a couch with side tables. So we couldn't really eat it. We nibbled at the toast top ingredients & I shared my sandwich.
Unique setting in a rich historic building. Totally worth it just to stare at the ceiling.
Imagine a library vibe with lots of hipsters & MacBook Air.
When I visited, I wanted to try their croissant they ran out 😭, but I tried a bagel with butter, cream cheese, & jam-& wow! It was incredible. Highly recommend!
The coffee was below average & chocolate pastry was good but fairly standard. It's also very overpriced.
I wasn't entirely satisfied with the seating arrangement. I understand it's a café & co-working space, but most seats were occupied by people working for hours, without needing to make any reservation. This left little room for those who simply wanted to enjoy a coffee or meal. I even noticed a gentleman uncomfortably sitting on a bench in the corner, holding his bowl of soup because there were no tables available to set it down.
I would give a 4 if the seating situation was better!
Definitely one of my favourite coffee places in Montreal for the atmosphere & eating options for morning. I also love the fact that you can rent a space to just work.
Generally, the quality of the coffee was exceptional. I highly recommend a cappuccino with a sandwich if you plan to work at the café for a long time, they have long-term seating, which is great. The ambiance of the bank was just really nice & it did not disappoint. I did find it to be a little bit more on the expensive side, but it is worth it.
Must visit in Montreal. Hard to find a spot to sit on a Saturday morning but not impossible. Coffee is average but the atmosphere is worth a visit.
Really cool place, but coffee wasn't great for the price. If you haven't been here before I recommend checking it out.
Only good thing about this place is'The Place'. Old ancient bank building converted to cafe. Coffee & food is basic, nothing special. Located nearby metro stations. If driving, it will be bit hard to find a parking spot.
Beautiful cafe in a beautiful historic building. The coffee was great. The food was above average. The prices were reasonable for the space. If you like to sit on a sofa seep coffee & converse with others in a piece of history this is it.
