What a special place! The most beautiful architecture! Such a fine use of a gorgeous unique place...a true gem...but NOT if you have mobility issues...stairs only..or a very complicated procedure to get to a lift in some round about way that is unmarked...best latte I've had in awhile!
Stunning building. Utterly shambolic & poor quality service & food.
Ordered 2 drinks, 2 bagels, 2 yoghurt bowls.
Got the drinks at the counter, tepid heat & they went cold very quickly.
Then had to wait an age for the bagels, which came undercooked & pale. These were cheap, or quality & covered in sesame seeds, not advertised. So many that you couldn't see the bagel!
The yoghurt bowls eventually came but by this time the bagels & drinks were cold.
There was so much granola, hardly any fruit or yoghurt, & it was impossible to eat as it was dry.
When you do eat, you eat with wooden spoons, knives & forks & stir your cold drink with wooden spoons stick.
It's a low standard, poor quality food cafeteria which just happened to be set in. Beautiful building.
Give this place a miss & spend your money where the quality is better & you'll get warm food & service with a smile.
Worst place we visited in Montreal.
The two stars are for the building.
It's a beautiful place, warm, majestic, with a great vibe. I don't understand the recent decision to further restrict the number of places where computers are not allowed. I understand that you want to rent out more booths & leave the seats for your customers.
You should have spaces (individual cubicles) for small groups that could also be rented. In addition, your mobile reservation system with the QR code is really not user-friendly. The screen is very small & jerky. You should make it even simpler. Thank you :)
This is a beautiful place to come & have a coffee. Coffees were very good & the was food was good, but not extraordinary. The ambiance & breathtaking setting is worth it though. Highly recommend to come visit & enjoy the coffee!
I had the chance to photograph a wedding at Crew Collective, & it's truly a beautiful & elegant venue. The space is full of character & perfect for capturing both intimate moments & grand celebrations. The light, architecture, & atmosphere make every photo come alive. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stunning backdrop for their special day!
The beautiful architecture & soaring ceilings are worth a visit just for their beauty. The remainder of the cafe is equally impressive, utilizing bank teller windows & counters for the counterspace. The seating area is plentiful, with polite notes to enjoy your food & the ambiance without setting up workstations. The breakfast was fine, but to be honest - it wasn't really the point of the visit. An absolute gem. I can't wait to return to experience it again.
Step into a Grand Café in a Historic Bank Building!
If you're looking for a coffee shop that's equal parts stunning, social, & studious-Crew Collective & Café is your spot. Housed in a beautifully restored heritage bank building in Old Montreal, this place wows you from the moment you step inside. Soaring ceilings, grand archways, & original architectural details make every visit feel special.
Whether you're catching up with friends, settling in for a productive study session, or just treating yourself, Crew has you covered. The coffee is excellent-rich, smooth, & consistently well-made. & don't even get me started on the almond croissant… flaky, buttery, & filled with just the right amount of marzipan goodness. It's an absolute must-try!
What's even better? They offer reservable study areas & cozy nooks, making it a perfect place to focus or brainstorm. I loved wandering around between sips, taking in the grand setting & buzzing yet calm atmosphere.
A true Montreal gem-tourists shouldn't miss it, & locals are lucky to have it. Can't wait to come back!
Beautiful atmosphere, Very good service, however, coffee was not good plus we were charges $1.09+ tax per person for the addition of a drop of oat milk in each coffee… No pricing displayed on pastries. Paid $7 & $8 for 2 pastries respectively, one which we returned as it was not fresh. The cake crumbled at the touch with a fork... ASK if the pastry is fresh from today… otherwise it felt like whatever didn't sell yesterday was put in front of us. It cost us $32 for 2 coffees, 2 pastries plus tip… If we have to pay these prices, have the decency to serve fresh coffee & pastries. Needless to say, we won't be back nor will we take friends when they visit us in Montreal. If you don't mind paying these prices, for mediocre coffee & stale pastries, think of it as a cover charge to sit in a beautiful historic building. 🤷?♀?
Collective Crew Café is such a beautiful spot! The architecture & interior design are stunning - bright, modern, & full of charm. I ordered a matcha latte & a pastry, & both were excellent. The matcha was perfectly balanced, & the pastry was fresh & buttery. The staff were so friendly, & the whole place has such a calm, welcoming vibe. A perfect café to relax, work, or just enjoy the beautiful space!
Beautiful building & great place to co-work! There are areas at the side (not main cafe space) that are available for the public to work or study.
I enjoyed the morning there & was able to grab coffee/ lunch etc while working.
Beautiful architecture. Pricey food for quality (just ok). As a coworking space not as much space (though maybe it's different if you're a member). The booths are nice though ($15/hr) & the area behind the cafe is also nice & spacious.
Crew Collective Café is absolutely worth a visit for the stunning architecture alone-grabbing a coffee here feels like stepping into a historic cathedral-meets-modern workspace. It's the perfect spot to soak in the ambiance & snap some beautiful photos. Food was just ok, if you want to order something l say go for the bagels. Still, for the atmosphere & experience, it's a great stop while exploring the city.
Beautiful location. I had a flat white & chocolate croissant & they were literally perfect. Lots of Instagram moments going on while we were there, but otherwise this is a great place to have breakfast & coffee.
This is pretty much a self-service restaurant. You go order, grab your food, & put the dirty dishes in a container. I noticed that if you leave tip they will make your food look cute; otherwise, they just give you something you can perfectly make at home. Taste is average for the money you pay, but the establishment per se is beautiful. If you just want to enjoy the architecture, you can perfectly do so without ordering.
Stopped by Crew Collective & Cafe just to take photos, & it did not disappoint! The space is absolutely stunning - set in a former bank, it feels grand & elegant with its high ceilings, marble, & historic details. Even without trying the food & drinks, it's worth a visit for the atmosphere alone. Definitely one of the most beautiful cafes I've ever seen!
