Beautiful building & great spot to sit. But it took them 32 minutes to make a latte. Absurd. & they weren’t very nice about it when people were asking when their coffee would be ready. I would go to view but not order coffee.
Beautiful atmosphere. Not-so-beautiful coffee. While the interiors were something to take in, the coffee is something to spit out. I wasn’t bitter about the architecture, just the sour beans. I know you’ve got art on the walls, but can I please see some on my coffee too?
Mauvaise expérience au Crew café! Nous étions les premiers arrivés à l’ouverture à 8 h! Nous avons eu notre café à 8:15. Juste rappeler qu’il n’y a pas que des touristes mais des gens qui travaillent aussi. Le personnel était froid & non accueillant. Presque pas de table pour s’asseoir, beaucoup trop de sofas. Difficile de manger un croissant sur un sofa! Surfait ce café. Juste le décor qui en vaut la peine.

Stopped in on a recent visit to Montréal. I was blown away by the beautiful architecture—what a great spot to enjoy tea & a pastry. I had a London Fog & it was very good; the croissants are wonderful. Plenty of seating, staff was friendly, & prices were good.
Absolutely beautiful building but the cafe isn't worth going out of your way for. & a very weird problem that I hope they fix: if you get an iced drink the condensation will make the ink stamped on the cup runny & stain your hand. Not a huge deal but something they should've noticed & fixed.
Based on reviews, I expected the drinks to be mediocre, but I was pleasantly surprised! They were excellent. I had an iced matcha & my husband had an espresso. Both tasted like they were made with quality products.
The atmosphere is definitely worth seeing, but I personally wouldn’t go if it was crowded. We were lucky to be one of the first to come around 8am. There were only about 5 other people hanging out inside. Def recommend going bright & early for the best experience!
It would be a sin to not stop here with my IG & TT feed running stories about this place 24/7... This building is something out of a 1940's movie with its ornate ceilings & old teller booths still intact. Even the elevator doors are worth taking a snapshot of. A historical stunning cafe. The coffee, bakery items & food are very good quality & very tasty. The lineup is usually quite long but I’d say it’s totally worth it.
Je ne connais pas particulièrement le groupe Crew, compagnie de type '' incubateur '' qui s'occupe du café Crew, mais une chose est sûre : ils ne font pas les choses à moitié.
Je ne sais pas par où commencer. Je vais y aller sous format liste :
1- Mention spéciale au rachat de l'espace sublime laissé vide par le départ d'une institution financière.
2- Le décor de ce café est unique & l'espace est bien réutilisé. Tables pour manger ou étudier, sofas confortables ainsi que des salles de travail cloisonnées pouvant être louées sur une base occasionnelle ou régulière.
3- Qualité de la nourriture : impeccable. Café de qualité, smoothies denses goûteux & sans saveurs ajoutées. Mon thé glacé était un vrai thé glacé. Sans sucre. Ne vous attendez pas à du Nestea! Biscuit choco-pacane avec zeste d'orange intéressant. J'ai hâte de revenir pour la tartine avocat saumon. Une nourriture d'une qualité irréprochable.
4- Bémol : service en anglais, difficulté à parler à quelqu'un de francophone. Attitude distante voire bête lors du service.
