Great lunch stop today!

Chez Greenberg is such a local gem. Fun vibe, great food & genuinely great service. We had the salmon BLC & knish poutine, & both were delicious.

Such a fun spot for lunch. We had a great time & will definitely be back!

Chez Greenberg was such a nice vibe! We walked over an hour through the city to get here & it was worth every step.

The bagels were thick & dense, toasted just right. They were not shy with the toppings either & all the flavours paired so well! Our favourite was the BLC with the scallion cream cheese.

Although the food was excellent, best part of the experience at Chez Greenberg was the overall ambience. There was no line at all, windows were wide open, & every inch of the wall had something interesting to look at. Such a cool spot!!

If you love bagels, you need to go here. Montreal classic vibes, super friendly staff, & the bagels are that good. Freshly baked & so flavorful.

Vibes, high! Food, great, Service, fantastic! Met the owner randomly on the street, he said we should walk 3 mins down the street & check out his restaurant & we weren't disappointed! This place is now saved as a go to spot anytime I visit Montreal!

Thanks so much for the great experience & the espresso martini was amazing!! Highly recommend!

I had this spot saved on my'places to try' list for a while, & finally made it there, & I'm so glad I did.

From the outside, it's absolutely charming. The green exterior & terrasse give it such a fresh, inviting vibe. Walking in, the space opens up into a bright, open-concept layout. There's a really cool seating area that feels more like a stylish lounge than a typical restaurant, & right in front, the kitchen is fully visible. I loved that you can see everything being prepared.

The service was just as impressive as the space. Everyone was warm & polite, & the owner even came by to say hello & helped clear our plates, which added a really personal touch.

I ordered the BLC, & it was amazing. The smoked salmon was incredibly fresh, with none of that overly'fishy' smell you sometimes get. The quality really stood out, & I finished my plate in minutes.

Overall, a great experience. I'd definitely recommend it, & I'll absolutely be coming back.

Great overall dining experience. Chez Greenberg offers a really nice balance between quality food & a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The menu is well thought out, with flavorful dishes that feel fresh & carefully prepared, & you can tell attention is given to both taste & presentation. The portions are satisfying without being overwhelming, & the pricing feels fair for the level of quality you get. The staff are friendly & attentive, creating a comfortable environment from the moment you walk in, although service can slow down slightly during busier times. The space itself is clean, cozy, & enjoyable for both casual meals & small gatherings. Overall, a solid spot with great food & a good vibe, definitely worth trying if you're in the area.
