Highly recommend this place: delicious food, great aesthetics, & really kind staff! The bagel dishes are superb. I visited on my first day in Montreal & was very kindly given a detailed itinerary by the staff (Clara & Lucy) for my travels, it was very heartwarming !!

Vibes, high! Food, great, Service, fantastic! Met the owner randomly on the street, he said we should walk 3 mins down the street & check out his restaurant & we weren't disappointed! This place is now saved as a go to spot anytime I visit Montreal!

We happened upon this place a few steps from our Airbnb & were so pleased w our decision! I love the ambiance, v chill & relaxed. Service is amazing, food is great & the drinks were perfection. I got an iced matcha latte lightly sweetened with maple syrup. So so good. We shared the BLC (lox) bagel sandwich. I'm not really into smoked salmon but I may be a convert after that sandwich. Ooh & my sister loved her espresso martini slushie! Highly recommend & would come back!

Chez Greenberg was one of the highlights of our time in Montreal. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, & full of character. The coffee was easily the best we've had in Montreal.

We tried the OG Knish, which was soft & pillowy, & the caramelised onion made it even more delicious. Every bite showcased the quality of the ingredients. One of the best I've tasted.

What really made the experience special was the friendly staff & owner. He took the time to chat with us about his passion for local produce & even showed us the lettuce he grows right out the front of the shop. That personal touch made us appreciate the food even more.

If you're visiting Montreal, this is an experience not to be missed. Highly recommended for great coffee, delicious food, & genuine hospitality.

I literally can't say anything bad about this place! To start off with, the food was IMPECCABLE! The quality of every ingredient is so present. Secondly, the coffee was fantastic. I have no idea where they get their roast/if it's homemade, but my double long espresso was absolutely delicious. Lastly, the owner was so friendly, & the vibes of the entire spot were great! I would recommend this place to anyone! I definitely will be coming back. The white fish salad was something new to me, & I would highly recommend it as well!

What's crazy to me is that something like this hasn't been open in the mile end for the last 80 years. This is exactly what our neighbourhood needed & just couldn't have been executed any better. The staff is incredibly friendly, the cooks are outstanding, & the vibes are, as the kids might say, immaculate. Not to mention that there are at least two Jakes. Our dog Earl also approves. Highly recommend for locals & visitors alike.
