Yéeee! premièrement le service est rapide , tu reçois ton plat chaud , le menu est super varié , il y a du choix & tout est excellent , plusieurs options de riz pour ceux qui préfère autre chose que le riz collé , le pikliz piquant comme on l'aime , les plantains croustillantes !! l'endroit est propre & bien entretenue, le personnel est accueillant !! I try to visit a new Haitian restaurant every time I pass by Montreal Nord, which isn't too often for me. The pricing here was bit higher than expected, but when I saw the big portion I was served it seemed more reasonable. I had my meal there & it was served in takeout containers instead of the available plates. But other than that detail the service was friendly, owners ensured that I was enjoying the meal. I went for their Chef Mak special chicken, a creation of their own which features a thicc, interesting thousand-island inspired sauce. Dish came with 3 pieces of chicken, a fat portion of creamy macaroni salad, a big pile of rice, pikliz, gravy & some plantain. The plantain was a bit dry for me but the rest of the items were awesome, particularly the macaroni salad.

Honnêtement waw, j'ai été pour la première fois avec mon amie & j'ai rien de négatif a dire. Le service & la nourriture 10/10, on a attendue moins que 10 minutes pour recevoir le tout. Le riz était tellement bon que j'ai même pas eu a rajouter de la sauce, le griot & le poulet très tendre & savoureux, le pikliz 10/10. Les portions sont très généreuse. Fortement recommandé!!
Premier griot à Montréal depuis 6 ans à Québec. Il était délicieux, croustillant, tendre, goûteux. Portion très généreuse, pikliz avec un petit kick, salade de macaroni crémeuse. Certainement pas ma dernière fois à aller chez Chef Mak! Personnel souriant, service rapide & musique festive, que demander de mieux à quelques minutes de chez-soi. J'ai même des restes pour l'après-midi!

Nouvellement dans le quartier, je viens tout juste de découvrir le restaurant. J'ai pris le plat légume ainsi que du griot & je jure que chaque bouchée était formidablement délicieuse. Les saveurs sont bien présentes, le pikliz est l'un des meilleurs que j'ai goûté d'un restaurant, la sauce est onctueuse & les bananes étaient cuites à la perfection & bien croustillantes!
Bref, vraiment pas déçue d'avoir emménagé près de ce restaurant que je recommande absolument à tous!!!
Facilement le meilleur griot que j'ai mangé. La viande est goûteuse & tendre, le pikliz est à se pèter la tête sur les murs. Le riz est juteux, même la salade de pâtes est sur la coche. Le bouillon est onctueux.
Le service est incroyable & la proprio est super gentille! Cherchez pas plus loin, c'est la place à aller pour manger haïtien.
The best Griot I've ever had. The pikliz is amazing, the broth is so rich in flavor, the mak salad is so creamy & tasty, the Griot is so tender & you get a good mix of lean & fatty pieces. They have won us over & we will be going back for years to come. The service was amazing as well. The woman working at the front was incredibly sweet & welcoming. The best experience overall for everything. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.
Un régal absolu ! Nous avons opté pour le griot, & chaque élément de l'assiette était un pur délice. Les plantains fondants, le riz collé savoureux, le griot bien tendre & croustillant, sans oublier la salade de macaroni (la meilleure en ville ), le pikliz relevé & la sauce exquise… Un véritable voyage de saveurs ! Une expérience culinaire à recommander sans hésitation.
J'ai commandé pour emporter pour la première fois, & ça ne sera pas la dernière ! Agréablement surpris par les gros morceaux de griot & le riz collé qui était parfumé & rempli de saveurs. Tout repas inclut des plantains, le macaroni, la sauce & du pikliz. Si vous ne voulez pas cuisiner, cet endroit est une bonne option pour dépanner comme takeout.
