Yéeee! premièrement le service est rapide , tu reçois ton plat chaud , le menu est super varié , il y a du choix & tout est excellent , plusieurs options de riz pour ceux qui préfère autre chose que le riz collé , le pikliz piquant comme on l'aime , les plantains croustillantes !! l'endroit est propre & bien entretenue, le personnel est accueillant !! Délicieux ! Tout était très bon. On a pris le riz collant, riz djondjon, poulet BBQ du chef Mak & classique griot. Rien n'était sec, tout avait beaucoup de goût & chef Mak est fort sympathique. Je recommande
I had a'Riz collé with griot' plate that came with a side of pasta salad.
The Good: The portion was reasonable & was served piping hot. The service was courteous.
The Bad: The plantains & the griot seemed to have been baked instead of fried & the rice & salad lacked a little salt. The prices are also a little high.
The Conclusion: If you have dietary restrictions (for salt & cholesterol for example) this meal would be a great'healthier' haitian food. When I go for haitian food, it's a treat for me cause I don't eat it everyday, so I want the traditional salty, spicy & greasy version.
A friend recommend this place. The griot plate was delicious fresh with big portion, the macaroni taste so good. The staff was friendly & welcome you with big a smile. I'm glad to find a good restaurant to get a good griot.
Honnêtement waw, j'ai été pour la première fois avec mon amie & j'ai rien de négatif a dire. Le service & la nourriture 10/10, on a attendue moins que 10 minutes pour recevoir le tout. Le riz était tellement bon que j'ai même pas eu a rajouter de la sauce, le griot & le poulet très tendre & savoureux, le pikliz 10/10. Les portions sont très généreuse. Fortement recommandé!!
It's an incredible place for Haitian cuisine. I just tasted the best griot (super tender & savory) & riz djon djon ever!
But to be honest, everything was absolutely delicious.
My other top dishes to try : BBQ Chef Mak, Beef Pâté, macaroni (it's the best compared to the other places) & even the Légumes is WOW!

Premier griot à Montréal depuis 6 ans à Québec. Il était délicieux, croustillant, tendre, goûteux. Portion très généreuse, pikliz avec un petit kick, salade de macaroni crémeuse. Certainement pas ma dernière fois à aller chez Chef Mak! Personnel souriant, service rapide & musique festive, que demander de mieux à quelques minutes de chez-soi. J'ai même des restes pour l'après-midi!
