For our wedding anniversary we went here & another restaurant. This was the most expensive of the two & the other restaurant was miles above this one in terms of quality. The onion soup was mediocre, I had a full duck breast & either it was the smallest duck or they didn't give it entirely. (I cook duck on a regular basis) it was also poorly cooked & bland. The wine list was boring & the bottle we were interested in wasn't even available. The service was decent but lacked enthusiasm. I think this restaurant is meant to impress tourists who aren't used to high quality dining experiences. While nothing was actually bad (why im giving 3 stars & not 2 or 1) Nothing was good or great. We had a wonderful meal at C'est la vie. We started with the goat cheese & honey appetizer, which was served with a green salad & was absolutely delicious. I had a pierrade with rack of lamb, filet mignon & shrimp. It comes with fries & three different sauces, & was delicious. You can cook your meet to taste on the hot stone, & it also keeps it hot throughout your meal. My husband had the Candian plate - elk, bison & venison. He said it was delicious & his only feedback was that it would have been good to know which meat was which. We were too full for dessert, but the selection looked delicious. Il y a des soirs ou il est préférable de rester chez soi pour se préparer un simple petit repas avec ces amis que d'aller dans ce type de restaurant. La joue de boeuf trop salé le gratin dauphinois hyper salé, on devine que le sel ne doit pas coûter trop cher. Vous commandez un magret de canard en réalité il vous apporte un demi magret déjà découpé pour remplir l'assiette, le comble comme il déjà découpé & qu'il le réchauffe, vous avez un demi magret de canard trop cuit & donc sans ce gout subtil & fondant du canard. Même ma belle mère qui est une très mauvaise cuisinière n'aurait pu faire pire. J'espère avec l'argent que cela nous coûté, le chef prendra quelques cours de base de cuisine.
