Review Summary

Across many visits, Céramic Café is described as a fun, creative outing for families and friends with a vast selection of ceramics to paint, friendly staff who guide beginners through the process, and a bright, spacious vibe at Laval for easy parking; customers enjoy staying long to finish projects, the chance to eat or drink on site, and the lively artsy atmosphere, though some trips were hampered by crowds, variable service during peak hours, and unclear pricing or additional charges for time or tables; a few notes mention noisy playlists, the need for more kid-friendly seating, and occasional miscommunications at checkout, yet most reviews end with praise for the experience and the opportunity to take home finished pieces that feel special.

It's such an amazing place! I had so much fun with my family. We also get to experience the whole process of how they make their ceramic products. I would definitely go their again.

It's such an addictive spot. Even when we go pick up our old ceramic, we end up staying for more. Great way to bond!

It was my first time here. I had a really good time here painting my ceramic with my 10 year old & some friends, spent like 4 1/2 hours here & it was very relaxing. Picked up our ceramics a week later, after 5pm as they requested & we absolutely LOVED our finished pieces. I highly recommend trying this place out. I'll definitely be back soon!

This place is a fantastic spot for creative outings, especially for families & friends looking to dive into some arts & crafts. Ceramic Café offers a vibrant & welcoming atmosphere where me & my daughter, along with friends, could choose from a wide variety of ceramic pieces to paint. The café aspect adds a lovely twist, allowing guests to sip on some coffee or enjoy snacks while painting. The staff was friendly & helpful, which can make the experience even more enjoyable, especially with kids trying this for the first time. It was a bit crowded, so the noise level might be something to consider if you're looking for a quieter experience. The pricing might feel a bit on the higher side once you add up the cost of the ceramics plus the studio fees, but the unique experience & the joy of creating something beautiful generally balance it out. Overall, Ceramic Café in Laval was the perfect creative retreat for our group, combining the fun of crafting with the ease of having cafe amenities at your fingertips. It's definitely a place to make some colorful memories!

Nestled in the heart of Laval lies a haven of creativity & joy, the Ceramic Cafe, where artistic dreams come to life one brushstroke at a time. As a doting parent to twin girls whose eyes sparkled with anticipation at the mere mention of this place, I recently embarked on a journey to fulfill their long-held desires. What ensued was an outing & a memorable experience filled with laughter, creativity, & bonding. From the moment we stepped through the doors of the Ceramic Cafe, we were greeted with an ambiance of warmth & creativity. The clean & inviting space immediately set the stage for an afternoon of artistic exploration. As I observed my twin daughters eagerly scanning the shelves stocked with an array of ceramic pieces, their faces illuminated with excitement, I knew we were in for something special. The staff at the Ceramic Cafe were instrumental in making our visit truly exceptional. Their genuine enthusiasm & helpfulness guided my daughters through the process of selecting the perfect ceramic pieces & choosing the vibrant colors that would bring their artistic visions to life. Their patience & encouragement fostered an environment where creativity knew no bounds. As my daughters delved into their artistic endeavors, I couldn't help but marvel at their ingenuity & flair. With each stroke of the brush, they transformed plain ceramic pieces into vibrant works of art, each reflecting their unique personalities & imaginations. It was a joyous sight to behold, witnessing their creativity flourish in an environment that nurtured & celebrated their artistic expression. The amenities offered at the Ceramic Cafe further enhanced our experience. The option to indulge in sandwiches, coffee, & juices provided a delightful interlude between painting sessions, allowing us to refuel & recharge before diving back into our artistic endeavors. The thoughtfulness of these offerings added an extra layer of comfort & enjoyment to our visit. But beyond the ceramic painting & delectable refreshments, what truly made our experience at the Ceramic Cafe unforgettable was the sense of connection & bonding that permeated throughout. As we sat side by side, engrossed in our creative pursuits, laughter filled the air, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come. It was a precious moment of togetherness, a reminder of the beauty of shared experiences & the magic of nurturing creativity. In conclusion, our visit to the Ceramic Cafe in Laval was magical. From the welcoming atmosphere to the attentive staff, from the joy of artistic exploration to the bonds strengthened, every aspect of our experience exceeded expectations. For my twin girls, it was a dream fulfilled, a momentous occasion that will forever hold a special place in their hearts. As for me, watching them unleash their creativity with such enthusiasm filled me with immense pride & happiness. The Ceramic Cafe is more than just a place to paint ceramics; it's a sanctuary where imaginations run wild & memories are made. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a dose of artistic inspiration & a delightful escape from the ordinary.

It was my first time here, & I have never painted ceramics before. So I would say it is very beginner friendly, but I had to take myself through the whole process. You are seated & fill out a form with your name & number. Then when that is done, walk up stairs & choose what you want to paint. Each item is labeled with a price. Bring it back to your table & a waitress will mark down which ceramics you chose & explain a bit how it goes & take the drink or food order. Your time starts now. They charge a few dollars for each hour you are painting. I painted 2 items in 2-3 hours & had a London fog tea. The whole experience cost about 50$ & was nice. You are asked to return in 10 days to pick up the ceramic items. They hold the item for 2 months, & will not call. I will update my review when I pick up my ceramics. I could have used a bit more guidance with what to do with my paints, or how to use the stickers or stencils they have available. But it's not an art class, it's a Cafe. I had a good time solo & saw a lot of groups & a few couples.

So, the wifey & I dove into this ceramic fiesta, armed with brushes & dreams of crafting masterpieces. It was a blast, creativity soaring & all, but my wallet was giving me the side-eye like, "Bro, we didn't sign up for a Picasso budget." This place is like the ceramic version of a five-star restaurant - fancy but with a bill that makes you question your life choices. We had fun, but our piggy bank is currently on strike, demanding better wages. I get it; they're probably funding the next ceramic revolution with those prices. :) If you're rolling in dough or maybe even spare change, it's a top-tier pottery party. But if you're on a first-name basis with your budget, you might want to unleash your artistic genius with crayons at home. Same vibe, different price tag. Ilhan

We love ceramic cafe, we come every year!! It's been a couple of times, the servers were not really attentive to details & would get a bit annoyed by simple demands like if we could change our table or wash our table because it was sticky.

We came the first week of December- would of been cool to have some X-Mas music playing.

Can't wait to get my creation.

Really fun & relaxing place to go to! Went with my friend on a friday night & it was a really nice & cozy place to spend the evening. We really enjoyed painting our ceramics over conversation. We ate nachos & drank hot chocolate, the nachos weren't the best but it was a good snack. The staff is super friendly. The pain also doesn't stain at all so it's ideal for painting anxiety-free especially with children!

I came with my daughter & her friend to celebrate their birthday. It's a really nice place with lots of options of ceramics to paint. I got a voucher on Tuango for 10$ for 2 people for studio time since I can get expensive with buying the piece, the studio time, & food. It's a nice place to have a coffee & just relax & paint.

Fun experience, but beware, the bill can go up pretty quickly! You pay per hour + pay for the ceramics+ food. The prices are fair though. Except that I don't agree that children under 5 years old still have to pay 7$/hour...

We waited over an hour for a panini. There was children running around the place while the customers were painting their pieces. The staff closed the kitchen earlier because of a potential rush of clients, but there was only a few table. The shop was supposed to close at 10pm but an hour prior the close they closed the music & ask people to go pay & clean up their table. The table are so small that it's difficult to fit your lunch, coffee, ceramic & paint on the table. When the customer next to us ask to put the table together, the staff refused due to potential customer than might arrived. However, a full section of the shop was closed.
