Amazing food, superb service. Went on Thursday (the 3rd of September)for lunch & hands down one of the best meal I've had in a long while, forgot to take a photo of the menu but here are some photos of the dishes I've tried! Would love to remember what they were called. The oyster was nice but just not quite my favourite. The trout dish was exceptional but I forgot what the purée was, it was cooked to perfection & the balance of flavor & texture in that dish was a 10/10.

Casavant is an absolute 5/5.

The sea bass (Bar à la grenobloise) was so unbelievably good that it instantly went into my top three dishes of all time. It was incredibly bright, perfectly cooked, & packed with flavor, complete with crisp croutons & lemon zest that brought everything together.

I also tried the fresh scallops (Pétoncles frais with chorizo), which were equally fantastic, beautifully presented, & well-balanced.

Both plates that hit the table were thoughtful, precise, & delicious. An exceptional spot in Montreal that I would go back to in a heartbeat.

As of August 26, 2026 there was a lot of construction around the restaurant so getting there is a pain but well worth it.

Best meal that we had on our trip. The dishes were delicious, attentive & purposeful. The layers & flavors were created with an eye & taste to the season & the ingredients used-nothing gimmicky, just delicious treats with every bite. Congratulations on accomplishing what so many other restaurants try, & doing it without obvious effort or pretense. We wish you were in NYC where we could visit you weekly!
