One of my favorite spots in Montreal. It works just as well for a date night as it does for a girls' night out. The vibe is always on point, & the service is consistently warm & attentive. The food is fantastic-& I still dream about that orange tea crème brûlée often. Always a treat to come back.
Casavant pourrait vraiment être un des meilleurs restos où j'ai mangé à Montréal. Le menu est inspiré de la cuisine française, mais ce n'est pas classique l'approche est beaucoup plus moderne & créative. C'est un endroit reconnu avec un Bib Gourmand Michelin, & honnêtement, c'est bien mérité : le rapport qualité-prix est excellent. C'est définitivement une place à ne pas manquer à Montréal.

This restaurant is awesome!!! We weren't feeling that hungry so we went with their smaller portioned dishes. Our serveuse Claire was amazing. We got all the pertinent information about their dishes & experienced great service. Their scallop dish in particular blew us away. Seriously, everyone s gotta try it! Their beef tartare & mushroom dish were great as well. Oysters were very fresh & their cucumber sauce was a light yet amazing touch that enhanced the taste. Would recommend 100%
Been there many times, & the quality of the meals keeps getting better with every visit. Their magic lies in the carefully curated high-quality ingredients, incredible homemade sauces, & that perfect overall taste. They also have a fantastic wine selection, with several rare finds you won't see elsewhere. The service is consistently great, friendly & relaxed. Easily one of my top 5 restaurants in Montreal.

My wife & I ate at Casavant while visiting Montreal this weekend & had an all around lovely experience. We were definitely the only non-Francophones in attendance but all staff from the owners to servers were so kind & helpful. They helped us through the wine list & we ended up with a perfect bottle. We shared the scallops, beef tartare, duck & seabass. All four dishes were incredible, but the scallops were a favourite. One of the owners made us a list of other restaurants, bars & sites to see when he found out it was our first time in Montreal.
All around great experience & would highly recommend.
