Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. Their reservation system continues to accept & CONFIRM reservations even when the restaurant is CLOSED.
People make plans, travel all the way downtown. Some from quite far away, pay for parking/transportation, only to arrive & find the restaurant completely closed. How is a reservation system allowed to confirm bookings when the restaurant isn't even open?
The bare minimum when operating a restaurant & offering online reservations is making sure your availability reflects your actual opening hours. A confirmed reservation should mean that customers can actually show up & be welcomed.
This is incredibly unprofessional & shows a complete lack of respect for your customers' time. This should simply never happen.
Excellente expérience pour le lunch chez Cappello! Les plats étaient délicieux, les portions généreuses & les desserts aussi beaux que savoureux. Le service était attentionné & l'ambiance très agréable. Une très belle découverte que je recommande sans hésitation!
Il y a de meilleurs endroits pour de la nourriture italienne à Montréal pour ce prix, mais la star ici est la vue & l'ambiance & je peux comprendre l'attrait pour une soirée.
Les pâtes sont corrects sans plus, le ragu était très salé à mon goût, les gnocchi superbe texture mais la note de citron me paraissait comme un dessert plutôt qu'un plat, le radiatori vodka: sauce générique & les pâtes trop cuites.
La burrata est bien mais de petite taille.
Le pain à l'ail, je le préfère grillé, celui ci était plutôt moelleux.
La salade ceasar est mieux que la insalata estiva.
Je suis allé avec ma copine, c'était notre première fois à ce restaurant. Nous avons eu un accueil chaleureux & élégant. Nous avons commencé par 2 cocktails, le Hugo Royal & un martini Freezer Door Vesper. Présentation superbe & goût raffiné. On vient vraiment chercher des arômes d'agrumes qui complètent bien l'alcool. Pour les plats, nous avons opté pour la sélection du chef 4 services pour deux personnes, un choix parfait pour goûter plusieurs plats. Salade d'endives, carpaccio de dorade, gnocchis burro e salvia, cappelletti, poulet Parmigiana & soft gelato. Tous excellents, palette de goûts très variés & riches. Pour ce qui est du service : impeccable & professionnel, tout simplement Wow. Nous avons été servis par Nathan, jeune serveur qui a beaucoup de potentiel & à qui il ne manque que du temps pour perfectionner son service. J'aimerais spécialement remercier Kevin Bussières pour la recommandation du vin, le Pacina IGT de 2016, qui est venu accorder le service à un autre niveau, pour une expérience à la hauteur de l'emplacement du restaurant. Merci beaucoup pour le service, je recommande fortement!
Il ne m'arrive pas souvent de laisser une critique négative, mais quelle déception.
Le repas était tout juste correct &, malheureusement, les plats étaient tièdes dans le meilleur des cas. Nous avons même dû retourner une assiette de pâtes.
Il était également très difficile d'attirer l'attention de notre serveuse. Nous comprenons qu'elle devait s'occuper de plusieurs tables & qu'elle n'avait probablement pas l'occasion d'assurer un suivi adéquat auprès de celles déjà servies.
Toutefois, lorsque nous avons finalement réussi à attirer son attention pour lui demander de remplacer un café servi froid, sa réaction nous a particulièrement déçus. Elle s'est montrée très condescendante, nous faisant remarquer que le café avait été servi 20 minutes plus tôt & laissant entendre que nous étions responsables du fait qu'il était maintenant froid. Considérant que nous avions justement eu de la difficulté à obtenir son attention, cette réponse était plutôt malvenue.
Nous célébrions une occasion spéciale entre amis & avions choisi ce restaurant en espérant passer une belle soirée. Il est vraiment dommage que l'expérience n'ait pas été à la hauteur.

Wonderful experience! Although we were only two, the team kindly gave us a table for four by the window so we could enjoy the beautiful view. Our server, Alejandro, did an exceptional job presenting the menu & serving each dish. The four-course meal was absolutely delicious & bursting with flavour. Thank you to the entire Cappello team for making our evening so special!
