All i can say is vibes were immaculate, food was amazing, drinks were fantastic.
It's the perfect place to bring a date or a girls night out.
If you come around 6:00-6:30, you get to catch the sunset while you eat, or in our case when we were done eating. It was gorgeous.
We sat at the bar & our bartender was, i believe, Marie-Anne. She was so insightful about the menu & explained everything in detail.
When i saw they had a canned of sparkling hibiscus juice, i asked her what it was & i expressed how much i love hibiscus. She gave us a little shot to taste. & she whipped up a cocktail for me! I really enjoyed it!
I would definitely come back & i highly recommend!!
I recently visited this restaurant & had a bit of a mixed experience. To start, everything was actually going really well - the burrata & garlic bread were both delicious & set a great first impression.
Unfortunately, things started to go downhill with the main courses. My partner initially received the wrong dish (though the names were quite similar, so I understand how that could happen), but the staff was accommodating & quickly corrected it. However, my own dish arrived cold, & while I normally wouldn't send food back, I had to ask for it to be reheated.
When the dishes came back, we were surprised by the portion size - the cappelleti plate had only five pieces, which felt quite underwhelming. Taste-wise, the pasta didn't really stand out, & my own dish was extremely over-peppered to the point where it was difficult to enjoy, which was disappointing since I usually love pasta.
We decided to stay a bit longer & ordered another round of drinks, but after waiting around 15 minutes with nothing arriving, we assumed it had been forgotten & asked for the bill. After paying (& still tipping over 15% as our waitress was very kind & attentive), we realized we had been charged for the drink we never received. It turned out it had been sitting at the bar for about 10 minutes without being brought to us.
Overall, the ambiance & view are beautiful, & the service from our waitress herself was lovely. However, based on the food experience, I would probably only return for drinks at the bar rather than for a full meal.

I mentioned my dish was a bit too salty, & Luca immediately took ownership. Without hesitation, he had the plate replaced no friction, just pure professionalism & care.
That level of attention says everything. True customer-centric service.
Food, ambiance, & overall experience were excellent.
Had a great night here at Cappello, wonderful view & vibe in the restaurant & all the food was great, only small complaint was there was some problem with service but nothing that major.
Shout out to our server Amanda & the Cappello team for going above & beyond & for making our evening incredibly special. 5 stars all around & the view is amazing.
Accueil : A l'arrivée, on avait une réservation pour 20:30, on a quand même dû attendre une bonne dizaine de minutes parce que la table n'était pas prête. La bonne chose c'est qu'on a été prévenues.
Service à table : le samedi soir était occupé mais j'ai trouvé que notre serveur était parfois lent à revenir vers notre table surtout pour prendre les commandes, les additions où il y a eu une erreur. Il était parfois occupé à prendre des shots avec la table d'à côté.
Ambiance : la lumière y est bonne, belle vue de Montreal & la musique permet tout de même de s'entendre. Je ne sais pas à quel point le staff peut gérer ça, mais la table à côté était excessivement bruyante, entre les cris & les coups sur les tables c'était à la limite de l'insupportable.
Nourriture & boissons : j'ai préféré les boissons, les entrées & le dessert. Mon plat ne m'a pas enchantée plus que ça, j'ai trouvé la sauce des pâtes liquide comparée à mes amies qui avaient des sauces plus épaisses.
Recommandations de boisson : hugo royal & aperol spritz
Recommandations d'entrée : la pieuvre, la burrata & la salade césar
Recommandations dessert : tiramisu & profiterole
Overall, avec un bon groupe on y passe une belle soirée 😄

Nous avons été servi par Marc-André qui tout au long de la soirée nous a offert un excellent service ! À la vue, tous le staff est dynamique ! La nourriture était ho combien délicieuse ! Focaccia incroyable, carpaccio de dorade (fondante & goûteuse à souhait) & pour repas … filet mignon a été juste incroyable ! Cuisson parfaite, mariage parfait avec le foie gras & les truffes ! À coupé le souffle ! & les pâtes radiatore … un charme & d'une onctuosité merveilleuse !
Les enfants sont admis, & nous y retournerons clairement parce que sérieusement, c'était incroyable ! La vue aussi est incroyable ! .
On a fêté mon anniversaire le 18/10 & c'était incroyablement bon.
Maria notre serveuse adorable, nous a bien aidé a choisir nos repas en nous expliquant les produits!
Les cocktails vraiment bon!

Le dosage entre sucrée & acidulée était PARFAIT merci ! (Juste le fruit de la passion manquant dessus mais c'est qu'un petit détail que j'aime bien avoir)
La burrata est incroyablement bonne avec les morceaux de figues, la focaccia est WOOOOOW vraiment !
On a pris les pâtes avec boulettes, cuite « al denté » je suis pas fan de la cuisson mais c'est la cuisine italienne ! sinon c'était incroyable !
& les profiteroles sont succulents ! Go for it vous ne serait pas déçu ! Avec le chef qui est venu à notre table !
La vue incroyable même si on était pas coté baies vitrées ! On avait vu sur la cuisine qui est tout aussi bien de voir les « backstages »
Nous on le recommande, les portions sont raisonnables mais au moins ça évite le gaspillage & on était rassasié à la fin du repas c'est ce qui est le plus important !

Amazing pasta kinda wish the portions were bigger other than that, everything was top notch loved the service as well with the pretty view of the city
We went to Cappello for lunch & amazing!The Caesar salad is a classic that never disappoints, & the pasta with vodka sauce was so good. The table d'hôte comes with focaccia, & you can even add a dessert - yes, please! Everything was absolutely delicious, & the view… wow!! I'm definitely coming back, like ASAP!
We were out celebrating a colleagues birthday. There was a little screw-up with the online reservation but thankfully it was mid week & they were gracious to accommodate us.
The atmosphere was great, we had a wonderful table & the view was spectacular. I have just one comment about tables facing a wall, & it goes for most restaurant designs, they should always have a mirror on the back wall so everyone feels part of the atmosphere. Nobody wants to ever face a wall, change that & everyone is happy & feels part of the vibe.
The food was great, but our experience with the staff was the highlight of the evening.
Thank you to Luca for taking great care of us & especially singing a wonderful Happy Bday song at the table... he was great, don't listen to other guests who said the opposite.
I definitely would return, if not just for Luca ;)
This place is so incredible! My spouse took me here for my birthday & I'm so glad this is what they chose. Food was incredible, the space is so pretty with great views of the city, & the service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly & quick. We'll definitely be coming here again!
