Shotout to bar manager Carl for great cocktails & service. My companion said that her margarita was the best one she has ever had. Carl surprised her with fruity margharita with a touch of spice & smokey flavour. Beautiful scenery & great vibes. I highly recommend!
J'adore essayer de nouveaux restaurants, & ça faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas eu un aussi gros coup de coeur.
Service incroyable, décor magnifique & nourriture exceptionnelle. Mention spéciale au carpaccio de dorade, au tartare de veau, salade César,
à la pieuvre & aux pizzas… honnêtement, tout était délicieux. Je recommande sans hésiter!

I had a great experience at Cappello. The food was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy & welcoming, & the staff were very friendly & attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious, & the service was quick & professional. I would definitely recommend this place & will be coming back again!
J'ai adoré mon expérience & j'y retournerai. Le service était attentionné & professionnel, la nourriture vraiment savoureuse & l'ambiance chaleureuse. La vue panoramique sur la ville est tout simplement exceptionnelle & rend le moment encore plus mémorable. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour une belle soirée à Montréal.
J'ai invité ma copine au Capello pour la St-Valentin, c'était pour une occasion vraiment spéciale, je l'ai demandé en mariage, tout était parfait, nous avions la plus belle table avec une vue époustouflante sur Montréal & la Rive-sud !
Le service était impeccable, merci a TOTO il a été extraordinaire & d'une belle complicité pour surprendre ma blonde lors de ma demande ...
Le repas 5 service était délicieux, belle présentation des plats & les saveurs étaient bien présentes dans chacun d'eux , le vin était d'un parfait accord .
Pour célébrer notre union nous avons terminer avec du champagne, vraiment délicieux !
Ce fût une soirée de rêve, tout était parfait, l'emplacement, la musique, le repas & le personnel tellement attentionné !
Je recommande fortement ce restaurant, pour une soirée entre amis, en amoureux ou bien pour une occasion spéciale, c'est l'endroit parfait & l'expérience est unique, vous en garderez un magnifique souvenir !

Fraîchement sortit de ce resto je n'ai que de bons mots à dire. Ouvert depuis à peine 4 mois ce resto se démarque de par ses saveurs & sa fraîcheur. Franchement les plats choisis étaient tous délicieux. Le seul bémol pour nous a été les pâtes. Elles n'étaient pas mauvaise, seulement un peu « ennuyeuse ». Nous avons été épaté par tout nos choix d'entrées que les pâtes pour nous n'ont pas été à la hauteur. Très basique comme plat, quoi qu'encore une fois très correct au goût.
Le service fut aussi excellent, Mariane a été super du début à la fin. Je recommande fortement ce resto & j'y reviendrai avec plaisir. Je ne suis pas certaine que je reprendrais des pâtes par contre mais j'essaierai certainement autre chose.
J'essayer de manger avec mon frere, mais quand j'ai parler avec la hôtesse. Elle m'a refusé d'entrer sous le prétexte que le restaurant était complet. Pourtant, quelques instants plus tard, un autre client est arrivé avec sa date & a été assis immédiatement sans réservation.
La différence de traitement était évidente. J'ai eu l'impression d'être jugé sur mon apparence ou mon origine. Je sentir que c'etait racist.
AUCUN CLIENT NE DEVRAIT VIVRE ÇA. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement
Super nice location & view of the city, attentive staff, delicious dishes & variety, only downside is the labyrinth it is to get there! Overall recommended spot.

I recently had a disappointing experience at a restaurant Capello that left me with a sour taste. The service was incredibly slow, with waitstaff seeming disinterested & inattentive. It took an eternity for our orders to arrive, & when they finally did, the food was underwhelming. The dishes lacked flavor & were poorly cooked. The presentation was sloppy, & it was evident that little effort was put into the preparation. To make matters worse, the prices were exorbitant for the low-quality food & subpar service. Overall, it was a regrettable dining experience that I wouldn't recommend to anyone
I came here because I saw it on the Montreal trending list, expecting a trendy restaurant with a beautiful view & mediocre food. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the food was delicious! I liked everything I ate & don't have anything negative to say. The pasta dishes varied considerably in size, assuming that stuffed pasta is considered more filling, so just keep that in mind if you have a big appetite. Overall, would recommend this place & I'd definitely be back!
We had a great experience celebrating a birthday with a group of eight. The space is beautiful, the food was excellent, & the service was even better. Our waiter, Alessandro, guided us through the menu & helped us choose a well balanced selection of dishes. We ordered sharing plates for the table, which I recommend if you want to try a variety of items.
The pasta & carpaccio were outstanding. We also had a steak with potatoes that were surprisingly memorable, plus salads that rounded out the meal nicely. The drink menu was genuinely impressive. The cocktails had creative flavor combinations, nothing overly sugary, & each one was described clearly so you actually knew what you were ordering.
The tiramisu at the end was one of the best I have had in Montreal.
We had a fantastic time trying Capello for a family birthday celebration! The service was fantastic, Negroni's were great, & the meals absolutely delicious. We got all the pastas & chicken parmigiana to share. All were amazing. Extra points for the spicy vodka pasta! & you have to get the tiramisu, best we've had! Highly recommended!
SUMMARY:
1. Service is complete crap & nonexistent
2. Food decently good
Starting off the experience was really good. Despite being late they did give us the table we wanted. At this points our expectations were being met because we were genuinely excited to try this new place that had just opened up. Then our food also arrived pretty quickly but unfortunately one of the two pasta was undercooked. Like the pasta itself tasted good but the noodles were extremely hard like rocks. The thing was that after we realized how hard the pasta was we didn't see our waiter for 30 whole minutes so by the time we could request a new plate the rest of our food we had all finished.
To be honest our waiter never checked in with us. Not once did he ask if we enjoyed the food or come by our table. Each time we needed something I had to flag him down or straight up walk up to him.
Finally after another 30 minutes they bring the new dish. We had a few bites but ultimately just wanted to pack it & get dessert so we asked our waiter for dessert & boxes. Mind you I mentioned it's my girlfriend's birthday so we thought they would clear the table & bring dessert. However the food runner came with dessert before our table was cleared. They also brought us the wrong dessert even after we explicitly showed our waiter a picture of the dessert we wanted.
So then we asked the server who brought our food if they could box our food. At this point he took it away & said he'll be back. However after receiving our bill & talking with the manager we come to find out they never boxed our food & threw it away instead. In my opinion this restaurant could use a lot of work especially with service because it wasn't even fully busy & they were messing up left & right.
Overall would not recommend coming here unless you want a nice view & mediocre experience. Also our waiter never once apologized for anything it was only when we asked for the manager that we received any sort of apology/compensation for the bad experience. Also management promised a free plate for our troubles but never followed up with us on this.
