Worst experience ever, overpriced for what you get. Spectacular view, but food is crap for a'high-end' restaurant, & also tiny portions. Not recommended at all.
The pasta was horrible ! Even my child didn't eat it We order all the pasta of the menu & some appetizers No order pasta here!!! ! The worse pasta is my life ! They should change the menu of pasta !!! Go for drink & appetizers only ! The services was ok , but when they bring the wine they forgot to bring it with the glass & the wind made the bottle to go to the floor & halft of the wine went to the floor because the waiter didn't brought us the case of ice to put the wine … we paid for this bottle come on … I will recommend to go restaurant upstairs are better !! The owner should change the pasta menu urgently!!!! Not good for your business!!
Had an incredible lunch at Cappello. The food was absolutely outstanding, & the entire dining experience was top tier.
We ordered from the Formula Pranzo menu, which starts you off with fantastic focaccia. For the antipasto, the short rib polpette was amazing. For the mains, the chicken parmigiana was cooked to perfection with a rich blend of marinara, pesto, & creamy parmesan, while the radiatori vodka piccante hit all the right notes with its rich sauce & fresh cheese toppings.
The bright, airy dining room features massive floor-to-ceiling windows offering sweeping, gorgeous views of the city. Everything from the service to the quality of the food was exceptional. Highly recommend checking this place out.
Le principal attrait de cet établissement est sans aucun doute sa vue spectaculaire. Situé en hauteur à la place Ville-Marie, il offre un magnifique panorama sur la ville, particulièrement en soirée. Nous y sommes allés dans le cadre d'un souper d'affaires & le décor a fait l'unanimité. L'endroit est très populaire, alors Je recommande fortement de réserver à l'avance.
Malheureusement, la cuisine ne s'est pas montrée à la hauteur du cadre ni des prix affichés.
Je ne qualifierais pas cet établissement de fine cuisine. Les plats étaient corrects, mais sans réelle créativité ni exécution remarquable. Les pâtes, qui ne semblent manifestement pas être faites maison, donnent une impression assez ordinaire, & les sauces, bien que bonnes, ne sortent pas des classiques. Pour ce niveau de prix, Je M'attendais à beaucoup plus.
En entrée, J'ai choisi un plat de type carpaccio. La présentation était soignée & très jolie, mais les saveurs étaient pratiquement inexistantes. C'était agréable à regarder, beaucoup moins à déguster.
Le plus gros faux pas est toutefois survenu avec Mon plat principal. J'avais commandé la pièce de viande la plus dispendieuse du menu, un plat d'environ 80 $, servi avec un morceau de foie gras. J'avais demandé une cuisson saignante, mais la viande est arrivée bien cuite. Après une seule bouchée, J'ai demandé que l'assiette soit refaite. Le foie gras était lui aussi beaucoup trop cuit, au point d'en perdre complètement sa texture & son intérêt.
Lorsque J'ai expliqué la situation au serveur, sa réaction M'a semblé plutôt condescendante. Mon assiette est finalement repartie en cuisine, mais elle n'est revenue qu'une fois que tous Mes collègues avaient terminé leur repas. Malheureusement, la deuxième cuisson n'était toujours pas conforme à Ma demande : la viande était encore entre médium & bien cuite plutôt que saignante.
À ce niveau de prix, Je M'attends à une cuisson irréprochable & à un service capable de corriger rapidement ce type d'erreur. Ici, ni l'un ni l'autre n'ont été au rendez-vous.
En résumé, Je suis heureuse d'avoir découvert l'endroit pour sa vue exceptionnelle, qui est réellement le point fort de l'expérience. En revanche, pour la qualité de la cuisine, l'exécution des plats & le service, cette expérience ne justifie pas, selon Moi, les prix demandés. C'était agréable à essayer une fois pour le panorama, mais ce n'est pas une adresse où J'ai envie de retourner.
Le restaurant est vraiment beau & offre une superbe vue sur la ville, ce qui rend le moment très agréable. Le service était bon & sans particularité : notre serveuse était très gentille, disponible pour répondre à nos questions.
Pour le repas, nous avons partagé plusieurs entrées & pris des plats. J'ai eu un coup de coeur pour la burrata, qui était délicieuse & que je recommande sans hésiter avec son panier de quatre pains. En revanche, j'ai été un peu déçue par les plats principaux a l'exception du poulet parmentier.
Au vu du prix, les quantités sont tout à fait correctes & généreuses. Cependant, je m'attendais à un petit peu mieux concernant la qualité globale de la nourriture par rapport aux tarifs affichés.
Flew in from out of town with my brother for a business trip & chose this restaurant for dinner. We were denied entry & told they were fully booked, yet the restaurant was visibly quite empty at the time.
Shortly after, a couple arrived without a reservation & were seated without issue. Watching that happen right in front of us was not only embarrassing but raised serious concerns about how guests are selected. This felt discriminatory & is not something I can overlook.
Would not recommend this place despite the decor & atmosphere looking beautiful.
This place was a vibe! From start to finish this place, people, food & environment was phenomenal. Hostess was super friendly, our server was fantastic made so many recommendations & made us feel welcomed & special, Thank you Andy! We visit Montreal from Toronto because of the Food quality & experience- this place topped it for us! You guys are doing many things right & cannot wait for visit again! Highly recommended for just about any special occasion but if not for anything a great night out with amazing vibes, exceptional food selection & delicious drinks!!! Merci Beaucoup!!!
Le cadre est très beau, la vue sur la ville est unique. Le passage dans l'entrée permet de jeter un petit coup d'oeil sur une partie de la cuisine, celle-ci semble très propre & c'est vraiment appréciable. La salle est propre, les tables, les couverts, rien à redire. Le service est très professionnel, il ne perd pas de temps. Pour autant, on nous a laissé le temps de réfléchir à nos plats tout en se montrant disponible pour répondre à nos questions (le serveur avec les tatouages sur la gorge, vous êtes vraiment au top! Merci encore). Le pain à l'ail était généreux en parmesan bien qu'un poil trop gras, mais c'est un détail. La Pinsa était généreuse, la cuisson était maîtrisée. Les cavaletti al ragù bianco étaient un délice. Les pâtes avaient de la mâche, la sauce ne noyait pas les pâtes & les enrobait juste ce qu'il faut. La viande hachée était bonne bien qu'un sofrito plus prononcé pourrait améliorer ce plat. Le déglaçage au vin blanc était impeccable. Ce plat mérite d'être commandé & recommandé. Le prix dépensé était totalement justifié au vu de la qualité de ces services. Un grand merci à toute votre équipe & à bientôt j'espère.
