Obviously owner has no grasp of what happened here. This place once went bankrupt because Milton's crazy owner spend 300-400k on kitchen & renovation & turned this into a restaurant. Lost most of the customers.
You open a place & almost completely loose the cafe side. If you don't wanna go bankrupt in a year please turn this place fully operating coffee place as it was & you start printing money with that.View more

It was a snowy winter morning when I stumbled into Café St-Barth for the first time. Little did I know, this moment would mark the onset of my mimosa & Belgian waffle addiction!
Hearing the chatter of the patrons, the aromas of the kitchen, along with the sight of couples & families laughing - it was clear we walked into the epicenter of the local community.
With the diverse menu bursting at the seams, it is often hard to settle for only one dish. They say you must first experience agony to experience ecstasy; this holds true, as we clutched the menus in anticipation for our order to arrive. One piece of advice when ordering: there are no wrong options.
If you haven't been here, I implore you change that.View more

J'ai été agréablement surprise par la qualité de cet endroit à déjeuner dès ma première visite & depuis, j'y vais régulièrement, car j'habite tout proche & c'est cette ambiance de brunch sympathique qu'il n'y a pas à beaucoup d'endroits dans le coin. La nourriture est délicieuse & bien présentée. Le choix est également varié. Un plus: l'exceptionnel choix de jus frais & smoothies qui rehausse encore plus l'intérêt pour ce petit endroit. & leur café est très bon (je prends le café filtre & il est super). Le personnel est amical & professionnel & nous répond toujours avec courtoisie & avec le sourire. Ils ont été bien accommodants quand j'y ai été avec mon bébé. Bref c'est un endroit où il fait bon être, & où on mange bien! J'amène toujours mes amis qui me visitent pour y déjeuner.View more

I'm so glad we stopped here for breakfast! The latte was the best I had in Montréal. So smooth, rich,perfect ammount of lavender flavor & perfectly made. I also loved the atmosphere. They offer discounts to college students, so the café was full of students working & collaborating, which gave the place such a lively & hip vibe. It made me nostalgic for my own college days! Our breakfast was delightful. My partner ordered the waffle, whcuh was actually three little waffles so cutely presented & came with a generous serving of fresh fruit & delicious whipped cream/maple syrup. Of course, I had to take a bite. I had the avocado toast with eggs, which was more like guacamole toast, but it was flavorful & satisfying. The waitstaff was friendly & attentive. I'd definitely recommend this spot for a cozy, delicious start to your day in Montréal!View more

Mon expérience dans ce café est très mitigée. L'ambiance en général n'était pas bonne, il y avait beaucoup de bruit, ce qui est compréhensible en période de pointe, mais cela, couplé à la taille exiguë de ce café & aux petites tables très serrées avec beaucoup de passages aux alentours... cela ne partait pas sur la bonne voie. En ce qui concerne la nourriture, c'est un brunch standard, rien de particulier, si ce n'est la taille absolument ridicule des gaufres (comme vous pouvez le voir sur la photo), qui étaient à un prix que je considère démesuré pour la quantité de nourriture (entre 15 & 16 $). Le service était correct, pas particulièrement chaleureux mais professionnel, donc rien à redire là-dessus. Dans l'ensemble, je ne retournerai pas dans ce brunch, & je ne le recommanderais donc pas non plus, à mon goût, l'adresse n'en vaut pas le détour.View more
