I think it was ok. The hype kinda exaggerated how good it was. Ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup. It was good but not as good as they made it sound on tiktok lol

Always my fave place EVERRRR. I can't recommend this place enough. You legit have to get everything; the grilled cheese, the pancakes, the tomato sandwich. None of this food has ever disappointed me or not slapped. I love September cafe unfortunately it's really not overrated.

Easily on the best places to have coffee & breakfast/brunch. The grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup & the Avo Toast are delicious🤌🏽Will be back here to try the popular pancakes!

Waited 2 hours (showed up at 11:30 got our food at 1:30) Grilled cheese was mid, pretty sure it's pre shredded cheese considering the grainy texture it had, soup was pretty good but 18$ for a mid grilled cheese & an okay/good soup is just insane to me.

To the people who complain about the long queues: nobody is forcing you to go to this place during peak hours!! You are not entitled to a business' service more than other customers who also show up for the same thing. People have to stop blaming a business for going viral & not being able to accommodate unusually big waves of customers...
Just go before they open (to skip the long lines) or wait til the hype calms down a little!
Yummy buttery pancakes. Also liked the fact that the grilled cheese had a kick to it

Such a delicious brunch at September! Sunday on the patio in the sun & had the blueberry pancakes, tomato soup with grilled cheese, & both a latte & iced matcha.

Everything was spot on - pancakes were fluffy with so much fresh blueberry & real maple syrup, soup was creamy & comforting & that grilled cheese was perfectly crisp. & the drinks - latte art was beautiful & the iced matcha was smooth, not bitter at all.

Great vibe, friendly staff, busy but worth the wait. Will definitely be back!

Arrive when they open or be prepared to wait in line. We arrived at 8:08am & still had to wait about 15-20 mins before being seated. Ordered the matcha latte (way too sweet), cappuccino (quite good!), the tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwich which was absolutely delicious & the blueberry pancakes which were fluffy & tasty. Would recommend! Theres plenty of seating as well: front patio, back patio & a shared indoor dining space. Cute spot in general in a vibrant quirky neighbourhood. Love this area for food!

Found out about this place from tiktok.
I waited over an hour. I went during a very hot day, so bring an umbrella or a fan while waiting in line. i thought i was gonna die from a heat stroke. They do provide free cold water tho
This place had the best chai latte so far.
I got the iconic Grilled cheese & soup. It was really good!
however, The food is over very priced.
I don't think it is worth lining up for an hour to eat here. however, if the line wasnt long i would consider coming back.
The inside space is really small, but there is an outside portion, however there is no fan in the patio, so it felt really hot in there cus there was also no wind. staying inside is the better choice.
I recomend not getting their pastries as there is no lid to prevent flies from coming in. i saw like 4 flies on the pastries, very unsanitary.

super busy but the line moves kinda quick. I went on a Monday around 11 AM & waited about half an hour to be seated & the food came out fairly quick afterwards. the grilled cheese & soup is to die for & the blueberry cheesecake pancakes are yummy too

Love this brunch place! My two favourite items on the menu are the grilled cheese with soup, & the halloumi sandwich - the taste is just amazing.
