I went to this cafe with my friends, the line outside was too long but I don't mind waiting I know it's a really popular place. But the service was insanely lame, our server was slow & forgot about our order 3 times we waited an hour for pancakes.
They just look & act like they don't wanna be here, everybody is rude & they don't smile.
If you come here you need to be as PATIENT as possible, they literally try their best to get on your nerves.
We came around 1 pm, it's 2:25 when I'm writing this & the order is still not there.
Good coffee but a bit overhyped. I came before opening hours & there was still a lineup ! Lol . To be honest , the lineup made the marketing, i would pass by Little Burgundy streets often & there was always a line up at this café & i wondered why so one day, i decided to wake up early at 7:00 to go to this place, so i could be at the door at 8:00 so i could escape the line up & try the coffee here but I couldn't!! There was still a line up!! i knew that one of Montreal's oldest traditions is to line up. If there is no orange cones , there is always a lineup instead!! People line up for everything & nothing here.. so yeah, welcome to the September cafe that should be renamed' the line up' cafe.

Found out about this place on TikTok. There was a line when we arrived at 10:30am. We waited about 20-25 minutes to get inside. There is inside seating, as well as a patio out front & a terrace in the back. The staff was very accommodating & helped move some tables when it started to rain. We got the breakfast sandwiches, pancakes to share, a cappuccino & a chai latte. Overall, the food was very tasty, & the overall aesthetic was very nice & cozy. I did not find the food to be overly impressive, but a good bite & would go again.
Very small seating area, crowded & difficult to enjoy. The food wasn't as enjoyable as social media portrays it. Staff is welcoming & friendly, the cafe is well placed in Montreal. I wouldn't necessarily come back but I'm glad I tried it once.
Excellent brunch, clairement un des meilleurs que j'ai essayés. Les pancakes sont incroyables, probablement les meilleurs en ville : moelleux, généreux & vraiment délicieux. L'ambiance du resto est super branchée avec une belle déco moderne & une vibe agréable. Service rapide & personnel sympathique. Une adresse que je vais définitivement revisiter.
Nous avons pris un latté & un flat white. Le café est bon & corsé. On adore le style vieillot de la vaisselle. Nous avons pris 2 pancakes & un biscuit chocolat noir & sel.
Il y a 3 pancakes par portion. Elles sont très fluffy & gourmandes. Un bémol, je les trouve trop salé à mon goût.

Came here with a friend & wanted to try their signature pancakes! They were pretty decent but a bit dry & bland. I wish they came with some fruits or other add ons as it only came with a bit of butter & syrup. There was a pretty long line (I waited 15 min) & the line never ends. Once I got into the cafe there was another line to order food. There was a lot of seating but it was extremely hard to find a seat. The outside seating areas are super nice though. I also got an iced Chai latte which was one of the best I've had. I wanted to try their orange juice but it was really expensive. They also have complimentary water. & im not sure what it was but our food took over 20min to arrive which was on the slow side but overall very nice cafe. Would come back to try their other options!
This was our go to coffee place for morning daycare runs, as we live in the neighbourhood. Now parents are expected to wait outside with those waiting for table service to dine in. & there was no line-up inside either.
Very disappointing that September has a lack of consideration for working parents that actually live in the neighbourhood….
the classic pancakes a were the best pancakes I've ever had! Three super thick & fluffy with a generous knob of butter flaky sea salt & a generous amount of maple syrup. You order your food & drinks at the counter & wait for your drink. Then you can find a table or a spot on their terrace & they will bring you your meal. Super friendly staff & cute vibe
Je suis déjà venu quelques fois & le serveur avec la casquette, grand en taille, n'est pas à sa place. Zéro sourire, zéro accueil, zéro mots. Impression de le déranger. Limite il nous a bousculé à l'entrée sans s'excuser. Il aurait mieux fait de rester chez lui. Je peux comprendre la hype autour de l'établissement mais si vous ne savez pas accueillir les clients, vous perdez tout. Je ne reviendrais plus & je ne recommanderais pas si vous voulez être bien accueilli.
We arrived at the opening on a Monday morning, the 18th of May. There were no one but the ambience in the staff were unpleasant. We use to come quite often & the Waiter is really rude. The tall guy with a hat. Very disapointing.
Not a smile. Not welcoming at all. Not a single word. It's not the first time that we are having this experience & it seems we are annoying him. I can't understand how he's still there. The food is good & delicious but the overall experience is really deplorable.
Pour ce qui est de la cuisine vraiment Top, le toast halloumi & le grilled cheese sont incroyables sans parler des pancakes à tester absolument !
Le café est également bon.
Prévoir un peu d'attente.
