Came in for lunch & end up not eating.

We were told that it was brunch menu only, the brunch menu was extremely small & limited.

When we tried to order we were told they were out of 2 of the items as well as the breakfast potatoes. If you're going to offer a limited item menu then you really should at least have the entire menu available. We paid for our drinks & left without eating so we could find a restaurant with a full menu.

Food is really good!! They have a different menu for brunch until 3pm which is also super good. Atmosphere is pretty nice too,

Si te gusta el whisky, Recomiendo de sobre manera visitar el bar, es sin duda, el mejor bar de whisky en Montreal
Puedes tomar uno de sus más de cientos de whiskys que ofrece en su carta.
El ambiente es agradable y la atención de primera.

Great pub with lively atmosphere.
An insane variety of scotch & whisky.
Sad they no longer have Murphy's beer... & no Smithwick's. Wish they had more Irish beer options.
Otherwise food was solid, service pretty good.

Sat at the terrasse with friends & had a great time! I was in the mood for a poutine & theirs scratched my itch, the gravy & blue cheese worked well together. Bangers & mash were top notch with their the homemade sausage!

Great service, too!

We came yesterday for the trivia night & a taste of home. First of all just wanted to say how brilliant the servers were- getting us a table at the last minute & being very personable.
A few notes for the english;
Though described as a pub, its definitely more a restaurant- make a booking!
& don't be a purist- we got served a cider in a guiness glass, so we had a good laugh.

On the food- the sticky toffee desser was excellent, though my minestrone was quite watery & my sisters fish was described as large fish fingers rather than a traditional fish & chips.

Overall, a great experience, would recommend.

There is a reason why The Lion is shoulder to shoulder during sporting events. Even threw the quiet times i,d much rather travel out of my way to enjoy a'Couple' of Guinness & a meal.God help my bank account if I rent an apartment near by!(lol)

First time to burgundy lion, we had great service, the waitress was very nice & very helpful. The drinks & food came quickly.

However…… the food was so salty (we had fish & chips, curry & the burger ) & the curry was inedible , the salt overpowered everything. The fish & chips portions were so small they should rename it to fish sticks & chips. The fish had half decent flavour but for the price we should have definitely gotten another piece as it is not given away. The portion of fries was very small as well.

I went here after many years for a first date; the place was packed, we just ordered two drinks, no food because we had a lot to talk about & the staff let us be, very charming no pressure to order food at all, Non alcoholic Guinness was great.
