Not welcoming for visitors. They put visitors in the tea room with a horrible view. Can't sit at the bar which is reserved for AMMO members.
Would not waste time here.
Fantastic food, fish'n' chips to die for, fantastic experience.
There's a fountain pen that I bring everywhere with me, it means a lot to me. I always place it in my pocket. We finish the meal & head back to the car & we see a gentleman in an orange shirt (don't know his name unfortunately) running towards our car. My pen fell out of my pocket on my chair without me noticing, & he ran all the way to us to return it to me. This was something I appreciated a lot. So to the man in the orange shirt, thank you very much.
Had a fantastic night here, the braised beef was delicious & the cocktails were spot on (maple old fashioned & French blonde). Unfortunately a bit loud but to be expected on a Friday night. Service was excellent, the waitress knew what celiac meant, knew the gluten-free items & doubled checked for me with the chef. Highly recommend!
Have been twice on our stay, service has been top notch & whisky selection is unmatched from any bar I've been to matching close to the Pot Still in Glasgow which is crazy!
Great english pub with classics (bangers n mash, fish n ships...) with a good selection of beverages. Their whisky was delightfull with the truffle chocolate
We were told that it was brunch menu only, the brunch menu was extremely small & limited.
When we tried to order we were told they were out of 2 of the items as well as the breakfast potatoes. If you're going to offer a limited item menu then you really should at least have the entire menu available. We paid for our drinks & left without eating so we could find a restaurant with a full menu.
Great pub with lively atmosphere.
An insane variety of scotch & whisky.
Sad they no longer have Murphy's beer... & no Smithwick's. Wish they had more Irish beer options.
Otherwise food was solid, service pretty good.
