There was a line when we arrived at 10:30am. We waited about 20-25 minutes to get inside. There is inside seating, as well as a patio out front & a terrace in the back. The staff was very accommodating & helped move some tables when it started to rain. We got the breakfast sandwiches, pancakes to share, a cappuccino & a chai latte. Overall, the food was very tasty, & the overall aesthetic was very nice & cozy. I did not find the food to be overly impressive, but a good bite & would go again.
we ordered breakfast sandwich & avocado toast & the pancakes, the food was divine! absolutely fantastic experience & well worth the price
This cozy Montreal gem is a must-visit. The homemade breakfast, soups, & cookies were delicious & thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family. Savannah was a delightful host, & a huge thank you goes to the three chefs in the kitchen for their hard work & excellent food. While the line can be long, the experience is well worth it-though a digital sign-in system would be a great addition for those cold mornings. Highly recommended!
Good coffee & food, I particularly enjoyed the grilled cheese (slightly spicy) & tomato soup. The deluxe breakfast sandwich was yummy but felt more like a lunch item. Service can be slow
The breakfast sandwich is so freaking good, the pancakes are so fluffy & buttery, even the maple syrup that they offer goes so well with it. Trust me people, it's worth the lineup 😂
This is the most overrated breakfast place in all of Montreal. People who think this place is good haven't properly experienced the Montreal food scene.
The good:
-Staff is friendly
The Bad:
-Very long wait outside
-Very overpriced (18$+tx for pancakes with no fruits or sides)
-Extremely loud, could barely talk with friends
-Seating is extremely uncomfortable, most are seats with no back support.
-The place is tiny & super crowded so you stand in line again inside to order & pay & everyone is in the way
-Burger was a 6/10 meanwhile staff told me it was the best thing on menu. Brioche bun was decent, meat was bad
A place really has to be disappointing for me to give a two stars, I know the restaurant industry is hard, but this place is not it.
When you come here, you expect a queue. & my God, was there a queue. We waited about one hour to get inside, which was frustrating as reservations would be an easy solve. Each time I've tried to come here, I've had the same problem. Great food & fairly quick though. I recommend the pancakes & the breakfast sandwich. Vibes are pretty standard inside but it was a Bit tight as they are obviously trying to fit lots of people in.
Unfortunately, there is no table service even after waiting an hour.
Whilst it was lovely & we enjoyed our time, I would not go back as it's not worth the queue!
LOVEEE THIS PLACE!!
Their breakfast sandwich has a special place in my heart & the grilled cheese with tomato soup. & the pancakes…!!!! I would always recommend my friends to come here.
