Nous avons commandé 5 onigiris & deux boissons un dimanche à 13h30. Ça a pris 30 minutes avant d'être servis, ce qui est long. Notre commande était pour emporter.
Les onigiris étaient bons, excepté le Ume que nous avons trouvé particulièrement salé. Gros coup de coeur pour le Diable.
Au niveau des boissons, nous avons pris un matcha latte & un Kinako latte. Ils étaient bons. Par contre, nos gobelets n'étaient pas remplis au complet. Nous avions pris le format petit. Nous trouvons cela décevant. Je mets une photo du gobelet contenant le Kinako qui n'avait pas encore été entamé.
Globalement, l'expérience était correcte. Pour le prix & le temps d'attente par contre, je ne suis pas certaine si je le recommande & ne pense pas y retourner.
Laid back Japanese café with decent selection of onigiri & drinks! A perfect afternoon snack spot. Their matcha was really good & you can adjust the sweetness level to your liking. Friendly service :)
Such a lovely place. The matcha is really good, it actually tastes like matcha & not watered down milk like at so many other cafes. The onigiris are fresh & delicious. Excited to come here every time I'm in the area.

I went there on a date & it was such a lovely place. The service was amazing that young boy Makoto made some amzing tasting & looking onigiri. For valentines day the onigiri were heart shaped which was very cute. The matcha was amazing.
In general very cozy highly recommend.
Such a great local discovery! One of the best cafés in the area, in my opinion. The Onigiri is amazing, great portion, & like most people are saying, the matcha & hojicha lattes are hands-down the BEST I've ever had in the city. The staff is very sweet & friendly, & the space is filled with art, plays fantastic music (always great music choices!) & the bathrooms are always impeccably clean. Love that it's open later than most cafes in the area, too. Nice place to work or study & grab a tasty bite to eat at the same time! 10/10 ⭐
Un passage régulier de la fin de semaine, pour un instant de douceur gustative & de calme, un petit dépaysement dans Montréal. Leurs onigiri sont fraichement préparés & délicieux, les petits plats également, & leur matcha latte... le meilleur de la ville pour moi. Spécial yummy pour le Ume. (Les gens qui chialent pour de la sauce soja dans les commentaires ont surement bien trop l'habitude des goûts avec des ultra additifs, de plus on ne met pas de la sauce soja dans tout sous prétexte que c'est un plat asiatique, sachez profiter de la simplicité) Le lieu est toujours propre, on peut profiter tranquillement car pas de musique forte comme souvent on peut entendre, le personnel très gentil & parle français & anglais. On peut y venir juste pour manger, y rester avec son laptop pour travailler (wifi) ou lire son bouquin. Un seul souhait : qu'ils ne ferment pas aussi vite que la plupart des choses biens à Mtl.

I LOVE this café!!! Their matcha & hojicha lattes are both insanely good (the best I've ever had!) & their onigiri are tasty, filling, & reasonably priced. The decor is gorgeous & the atmosphere is great. The owners & staff are always very nice & welcoming. I've told all of my friends about this place & I couldn't recommend them enough!
Best hojicha latte I've ever had. It was so thick, nutty/tasty flavor, not too sweet. It almost reminded me of a Korean multigrain drink. Loved that they had an option for oat milk as well. The matcha biscuit had a pleasantly strong matcha flavor.
My first time having a Onigiri, & was a good one. They have veg options as well. The best part- the seaweed was fresh & crispy! The baristas have very good knowledge of the Matcha options & can recommend one to your taste. Was a bit warm inside for summer, but can imagine will be a great place when weather cools down.

Super resto d'onigiri (genre de sandwich japonais au riz & algue séchée, fourés avec différents ingrédients). Ils offrent aussi des très bons matcha latte & autre boissons.
4.5. Best matcha I've had in Montreal. The hojicha latté was also great. For food I'd recommend the umé (plum nigiri) & the eggplant side. Service & atmosphere were both nice. -0.5 stars just because they use ALOT of plastic even when it's not to go.
Probably the best hojicha latte I've ever had! So smooth & creamy. I will be back to try the matcha one. The onigiri is very fresh & tasty- my favorite is the seasoned egg (ajitama) one. The space is very beautiful & cozy. The wall & ceiling detailing is quite unique & beautiful. This place has a great atmosphere for meeting up with a friend, or working/studying at a cafe.
